The wave of speculation spread around the Internet today, after the Australian side appeared rating shown in the picture below:

Rockstar has clarified to indicate that change rating to re-use the PC version for business purposes. Could GTA: VC was to land on GOG?
Not impossible. But there's not really a lot more that can be said.
Considering that Capcom own the distribution rights for the GTA series here in Japan, it's sadly doubtful unless Rockstar had the intelligent idea of keeping online PC distribution separate from that deal. But seeing as we can't buy Rockstar games on Steam due to restrictions (which a lot of other regions also suffer from) I find it very very doubtful we'll see any Rockstar game on GOG.
It would be perfect timing. I hardly try to get the GTA Trilogy (GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas), but the german version is badly cut (some missions are missing) and to import the us-version would cost about 30€. Actually I don't know if I should wait if it will come to GOG or I should buy the import version.
Btw, direct2drive released all three games as package for 30€, unfortunately with securom drm.
Edit: Checked the D2D page, Japan and other asian countries are not listed in the available for purchase infobox. No good prospects for a GOG release.

Hope so, Vice City is my favourite GTA.

Me too, though I would love GTA 5 to be set in the 80's again. The perfect setting for a GTA game.

This is the wishlist. Use it.
Would love to see the two first GTA games here on GoG :) But past those two, Vice City is a pearl

GTA 1&2 are freeware. Not sure if they can join freeware games here.

They got a free games section, so i think they can
Personally I thought vice city was the weakest of the 3d releases. Would be a major boon to GOG though

Vice City was the best, IMO. Better than GTA3 and SA.

can't you go to another country to buy the game?
in a Europe you throw a rock and it can land it three different countries depending on the wind...

Okay, in comparison to Australia or Northern America we are small, but not that small ;-) Poland is 2-3 hours away, that's a little bit too far and expansive for me. I would buy the package from an austrian shop, there are some specialized for uncut videos and games who deliver to germany. So, to get the package is not the problem and to pay the double in comparison to the german package is in this case also ok for me, but if there is an option to get the games drm-free and without a cd-check I would prefer this. I know, there are nocd-cracks and from an ethic view I have no problems with them, but it's just a unnecessary risk. It's just the question if I'm patient enough to see the games hopefully someday here on GOG or when I will indulge my desire.
Btw, I really love Vice City - the best action game for me. This Miami Vice atmosphere combined with not to realistic graphics is just fantastic. I can cruise for hours on the streets and listen to the different radio stations - lovely.

That's what I do. I don't play the game as much as just cruise with the music at max lol.
Hmm, I wonder where I have the discs.
