JudasIscariot: So is it meat all the way through or is there some melted cheese on in the inside or something?
avatar
Nightfall87: It can be all meat. But it can also be filled with all sorts of things. Paprika, kajmak (not certain how to translate it), smoked meat, bacon, cheese, onion...

spinefarm: Uh the photo of the Pleskavica in that place is with bulgarian rakia :D
avatar
Nightfall87: Yeah, well we all have pretty similar cuisine. Same goes for liquor. :)
From the description they say it's basically nothing more than grilled ground meat...which is a good thing because this is familiar to me :P

About the rakia, I think it sort of makes sense considering that a lot of the Balkan countries were one (Yugoslavia) at one point so I am sure this kind of goes along that line of thinking. Either that or I am looking too deep into what could be a small mistake on the owner's part :D.

Germans I always thought were more about beer and such...didn't think they would gravitate towards liquor :D

Not entirely true.

It's not only Bulgarian. It's common throughout the Balkans. :)

Nevertheless, I find it hilarious when it's tried by someone who is not accustomed to it. Especially if they are given some home brewed rakija that has similar percentage of alcohol as absinthe. :D

My father makes a 60 degrees rakia... and I gave a friend of mine from England one glass to try it ....he was like a fire breading dragon :D
Something like this: :D

60? That's a bit too much. :D The last round we (our family) made, two years ago, was around 45 degrees.

Anyways, since we're talking about Balkan stuff... I fucking HATE the mother fucking terrorist shit holes that roam our country. Fuckingl die! To hell with you, damn Islamic terrorist groups and fucking Albanian shits.

Oh, if I could only nuke the whole damn fucking Kosovo, Albania, and every other place that fucking supports those fucking terrorist groups. Life would be so much secure around here.
Interesting thing is I remember drinking some self-made alcohol from Greece. Strong one. It was also called raki (I think).
