G'day all :) Are you on the GOGWiki yet? If not, why not?

Also, per TheJoe's request, if you're not on the GOGWiki to contribute to it's pages, why not?

I'm just curious is all

I've been clicking people's names in the forum (I love that integration BTW barefoot_monkey, well done) and see that over 95% or more that I've clicked *don't* have a profile page there

Call me curious, but I find it interesting to see not only people's wants (wishlist) for my own means, but the games they own (shelf) plus maybe even a picture so I know who you are in real life

It's always nice to put a picture to a name, but maybe that's just me

Have a good one ;)

EDIT:

Well, I guess some would be like me that A) never really checked out the site and/or B) have far too many site memberships/logins to really want to add another.
Yes, I am.

However I haven't edited any pages on the Wiki. I'm not sure what we can or cannot do.

Where can you click on names in the forum?
Can we please not forget that the purpose of the GOGWiki is not just to show off your wishlist and games. It is for you to contribute your knowledge about the GOG.com catalogue to the relevant articles.

If you've got Interstate working, write up how you got it working. If you know about a file that's missing or changed in the GOG release, write up about it. Please. Seriously.

So, allow me to please rephrase the OP question:
If you're not on GOGWiki in order to contribute to the pages, why not? Just curious is all.

Seriously, the community at large needs your help.
You really should have included a link to or something so it would have been easier to understand for everyone. Also, it'd be cool if people included a link to the [url=http://gogwiki.com/index.php?title=Main_Page]GOGWiki when they're talking about it, because it isn't too easy to find on your own.

I've considered whether I should make one of those pages.

You could create the page at Mob_Rule/Sandbox if you're really not confident about your grammar and we can fix it up. Don't let bad grammar get in the way of sharing your knowledge :)

will see, one thing is right though, the gog wiki needs a lot more content, specially known issues, bugs etc for each game, reading the wiki for a while now to see how its laid out
Why not? well, i don't really know a lot about most games from Gog, so i wouldn't really know what and where to contribute.
I now have a rudimentary profile for name clickers to enjoy.

I'm awful at these things. Okay, so, for example, would it be considered useful information that while the UT2004 soundtrack isn't in the extras, it's in the game's folder as .ogg files? ..and if it's worthy of wiki-mention, where should information like that go? It's kind of trivia, but it's not GOG-only trivia, as the original game had the music files there as well.

Yes, that's absolutely worth a mention. It would go on the UT2004 page under Release Information as something like "Although the GOG version does not include the soundtrack as a bonus download, the soundtrack is obtainable from the game installation directory."
I was on GOGWiki before it went public!
