I have the space, police and king's quest series collections but I never got Leisure Suit Larry. It just wasn't a series I played when I was younger, probably because my mom didn't own it and her adventure game collection is what got me into PC gaming. She wasn't a prude, so maybe something else turned her off from them.

Maybe I'll get the collection off amazon and play it someday.

PimPamPet: LSL4 wasn't canceled at all. Skipping the fourth chapter was a joke on Al Lowe's part. He had wrapped up the story the way he originally intended in LSL3 and couldn't figure out a way of following up on it, so he just skipped number 4 and went straight to LSL5.
number four never entered into proper development for various reasons but it supposed to be published.

it wasn't

therefore you can say it was cancelled.
