No DRM, reasonable prices, and a deviation from the "I want to be a monopoly by locking up games" makes Gog win in my opinion.

This place doesn't mess with anyone, or require some system eating, snoop client to allow you to enjoy what you pay for.

GOG does provide quite a few extras, but soundtracks are an example of where GOG falls short compared to bundles. Reading back, perhaps I overstated this. GOG does usually provide several extras, it's just my experience that I can get often get more meaningful extras on bundles or Indie Game Stand.

Disagreeing again, game for game, GOG gives more, and better extras.

It's possible that it was just the few examples I looked at where it wasn't the case.

The only game on my shelf that has no bonus content at all is Teen Agent (yep. all the other freebies have at least one thing as a bonus - to say nothing about games I bought). And here are two examples of a classic game and a more recent one with bonus content.

That's not a relevant question. The relevant question is how many games I have from bundles which are also on GOG.

I checked a few, and I grant you that GOG often has more extras. It does lack soundtracks or has only partial ones in many cases. For example Botanicula, Brutal Legend, Shadowgrounds and many more Humble Bundle games I own which are also on GOG don't have soundtracks on GOG. For Ring Runner, which I got from Indie Game Stand, I got not only a full soundtrack (compared to 7 tracks on GOG) but also a novel.

As I said before, I take it back about extras, GOG does provide quite a few of them, but for some extras it's better to get them elsewhere, and from bundle sites you often get both DRM-free and copies at other stores (Ring Runner came with GOG, Steam and Desura codes, but it's an extreme example). Couple that with better prices, and at least for me the conclusion is clear that bundle sites are a better place to get games than GOG (given the limitations of bundles, of course: limited selection for a limited time.)

They are both okay. GOG is the slightly more reliable service since as long as you keep the installer somewhere on your disc you never need to contact them again unlike Steam. They are both easy to use. Pricewise my impression is that GOG has even slightly better prices for the content they offer although this is difficult to compare because many games from GOG aren't on Steam and vice versa. All in all there isn't a clear winner from the functionality alone.

I advice you to have both and since GOG offers games also DRM free (if you like this) then maybe you could give GOG some extra benefit for that. Just be sure to buy on GOG only when there is a sale. Prices drop at least 50% usually on almost anything.

I asked because it seemed that you haven't gotten any games from here. And gog usually has more useful extras, quite a few of the games I have have the hintbooks/strategy guides included.

I have more on steam simply because there is more. I also use Origin and it is actually getting better. I love GoG for the community and the fact that I see the guys who are running it as actual humans (as far as I can tell). Seeing TET or Judas show up in the forums really helps give GoG a face. Steam and Origin are just a corporate machines.
