pi4t: (If no one's realised, I've never played M:tG, though I know how the concept works in general, so I'm making things up as I go along)

Apparently we had a double play between me and Judas. I guess the next player has to counter both, then?
I've never played Magic either and I'm the one who came up with this game here out of sheer boredom (GOG time machine ftw...)

Yes we have double play yet again and it's ok. Since we are still in the isometric indoors, I send in the Silencer who with no regret cleans up this mess and melts the skin off* (literally!) both Judas's vault dweller and pi4t's berserker.

That enables me to get a free play in, though. I think I'll place a token on my Mastery pile, and reveal my Master of Magic card. That lets me have a free spell...phantom warriors, I think.

That progresses me a short way towards the victory condition, but has the downside that I have to spend the next few hours resting to regain my spells [or rather because I'm tired and need to go to sleep], and can't play anything for a while.

*Ahem* I don't know what you're talking about.

*Quickly uses the combo permitted by having all the GOG dnd games to cast the dnd spell Misdirection*.

Okay, I play y three cards. First I Ghost Master the phantom warriors, binding them all to a little cupboard. With that out of the way, I flood the field with my Populous, and launch a Subwar2050 attack.

I use April Ryan* who can breathe underwater with a polyp down her throat and then I cross the Divide to get Torpedo Tube defenses from Total Annihilation (to neutralize Telika's subs)

I send April to Another World and she is immediately focused on saving said world so she is actually boosting my alien defenses ;D

I cast a Dark Reign upon your other world and use Scarab artillery to cowardly take out your alien defenses from a safe distance.
This calls for some mercenary tactics from Jagged Alliance, deadly games.

Ice, Gus, Ivan and others expendable mercenaries are silently sabotaging artillery and occupy the base now.

EDIT: grammar

Oh look what I found! A Wraith card from Master of Magic!

The Wraith makes short work of the mercs and adds the newly revived units to its base attack power :P

I'm calling for Christof the Vampire. He will keep talking about his poor beloved Anezka all the time and eventually your wraith will commit suicide. I bet even wraith cannot stand a full grown man acting like a sissy for several centuries ;)

BTW You are a very difficult opponent - you have a full deck ;)

Errrm forgive me for asking but how do you kill that which has no life? :P

Also, since Christof is an undead, technically, any of his actions qualify as Death magic..to which the Wraith is immune :)

I agree, undead vs undead is a bit tricky...unless aided by: Rosa Blackwell
Christoph holds one end of the tie and Rosa the other, and thus the Wraith is sent through the dimensional portal or whatever that thing in the game is supposed to be.

I play Geralt who has contract to kill the vampire, but instead of that he befriends him and Rosa and together travel war torn country seeking peace of mind.
