A strange letter from your father, a pastor of a small village, makes you return to your old family home, only to find that he is missing and all the townsfolk are unwelcoming and acting odd. Soon you discover that evil forces have taken over the village and you need to find a way to stop this madness. Personal Nightmare is definitely an old Gem (1989) but not a rusty one. Although you cannot expect too much flare from graphics and sound, once you get sucked into the storyline and chilling atmosphere, expect some decent scares and a wicked twist.
This is a game for both horror enthusiasts and adventure fans. An oldie but a goodie from the GOG.com collection, Personal Nightmare is highly recommended for only $2.39 until 10.59 AM GMT on 3 May 2012.
