Because the most memorable thing to happen in the game is Vitek claiming mafia. Pretty ridiculous that that only caused about 6 posts of fuss. Barely even fuss. More fuss!
Well anyway I made a decision to vote for someone who completely ignored that because if one is a mafia and one's mafia teammate claims mafia one would probably feel rather baffled and do one's best not to draw attention to it.
And well if one was mafia and a townie claimed mafia I can imagine fearing some sort of trap and wanting to ignore that too.

@N0x0ss; While your conclusion about matti defending nmillar from IronStar is more likely it is quite viably tactic for scum to defend town player to buddy with him. Or maybe to deter his scum buddy from voting someone who seems like bad target to him.

I'm still not convinced that ViolatorX is mafia...

Since nobody seems to want to contribute any more theories, I'm going to stick with my vote on ViolatorX - he's on my suspects list along with boct1584, IronStar and N0x0ss, and is the one of those four that people seem to agree with. Of the remaining three, I think IronStar is probably the most likely candidate to be the third mafia member.

Despite my initial confrontations with N0x0ss, he's slipped down the list. As others pointed out, the early argument was very similar to the first day argument I had with Vitek in the previous mafia game, and we both turned out to be town. Lesson learned.

boct1584 is pretty quiet, so it's difficult to guage on which side of the fence he falls. There was the early post that seemed to be complaining that the setup favoured town that I pointed out, but there hasn't really been anything since.

It's difficult to try and analyse Matti because he didn't contribute much throughout the game, and I don't see any obvious links except the one that could be interpreted as defending N0x0ss or myself, but as I've already mentioned N0x0ss has slipped behind ViolatorX, IronStar and boct1584 (in that order) in my suspects list.

This is a prod, blah blah blah, you know the drill.

I'm not going to set a deadline until Joe has had an opportunity to read the thread and start participating. But you don't need a deadline to actually play, or do you?

I am waiting for others to post more of substance...as for me, i'm keeping my vote on ViolatorX unless I see something that makes me decide to change my vote.
