Don't know if this is for our benefit or just for the press, but PR dude Tom Ohle tweeted:
"We're doing a big, awesome pre-E3 bbq with http://GOG.com . See Rise of the Triad, Project: Eternity, Wasteland 2 and more."
Hopefully some fun event is coming soon then.
There wasn't the usual early April spring conference so it seems very likely there will still be a summer conference. Last year it fell on May 30, so maybe we'll hear something in the next week or two.
Last time this happened, they announced the EA deal. Let's see what they have for us this time. :) I'm not necessarily expecting a new publisher deal, but I'm still curious.

if there is a new publisher being announced, i am still hoping for Lucas Arts.
Disney deal, I can feel it.

ROGUE SQUADRON NOW !!!
Always enjoy the GOG conferences..... well once they stop talking about the Witcher. Nothing really against it but sometimes you can spend too much time on one thing and that can really make things drag.

Agreed. I mean, other people really care about the Witcher stuff, fair enough, but I want to know about the oldies and maybe have one or two good old releases. NOT THAT WIZARDRY ISN'T AMAZING, conferences are just meant for special things too. :-)

But the tweet makes it seem like it may mostly be new games related to old games - Rise of the Triad, Project: Eternity, Wasteland 2, etc.

I hope, but I don't think there would be a conference (there wasn't a spring conference, so I doubt if there will be a summer conference). Still, I really hope there will be one.

Yes, it was on a summer conference, but it was two years ago, as EA joined to GOG in June 2011. There was a summer conference last year, but there wasn't any big publisher announcements on that one.

I know. I saw the whole thing. To think how much this place has changed since then. :D

Ah, so GOG will join the Witcher 3 party. Good.
Related website: http://www.evolve-pr.com/

Looks like CDPR and GOG are pretty tight with Evolve. I see mostly new titles under "Current Games", ones that Tom tweeted about, so I'm not really expecting anything old. That may be fine with most people.

However, I find it interesting to see 2K Games -subsidiary of Take-2 - on board with Evolve. My mind is making connections between Take-2, 2K, Evolve, mondo84's classic "next big publisher (LucasArts, Microsoft, or Take 2)" thread, and TET's "six months" statement, but that's probably pretty silly.
Aside from the E3 indie conference that GOG is coordinating, has there been any news for a site conference?

I'm not worried or anything, but it does seem weird that there was no spring conference and we haven't heard about a summer one yet. But there could be many reasons for this.

Anyway, looking forward to whatever GOG has in store for the next month or so.
All TET had to say about it was this:
"We're in between interesting things to announce. We will probably do something conference-ish this year, but precisely when is something about which I am unsure."
and he mentioned in an interview during the pre-E3 BBQ that they had something planned for after E3 (which I'm expecting is a kind of Summer Sale).
