I have a macbook and was wanting to download the first three fallouts. I was wondering, does GOG only work with PCs or is it compatible with Macs?

Afaik, all GOG games are Windows only.
GOG games are Windows XP and Vista only.
Yes sorry for those mac users..mac versions should be done too in my opinion

That's a bit beyond the scope of what GOG does with the games they sell. Its one thing to take an old game and update the executable or installer slightly to make it work on a modern Windows OS, it is something entirely different to port a game from one platform to a completely different one.

Well, it wouldn't be too much of a problem for the DOSBox or ScummVM compatible ones. But as for the Windows games, not a snowball's chance in Hell.
If you want to play PC games, buy a PC.
Unless a Mac port already exists. Then you just need one of them universal binary whatsits and/Or modern OSX support. And having to deal with another company.
I'd assume OSX has some kind of WINE equivalent that might help to get things running for them? no?

If they do, then they can just use the versions that are already here, no?
Worth a shot. I'm PC, I'm not Hip and Cool enough to own a Mac :)
I was just thinking of suggesting WINE myself. What's the mac analogue called, bootcamp or is that a dualboot util?

The Mac analog of Wine is actually called Darwine. However it only works on the Intel-based Macs.
While i never ever had a Mac, so it doesn't bother me that much...
but some games actually had Mac versions back then. Like, for example, Fallout.
Porting is a no-go of course, but as there is already one..
