Wow.. that was fun. Thanks stoicsentry! I knew I should have studied those Phoenicians better when I was a kid :))

stoicsentry: Bing bing bing. Saramakos wins the most epic contest thusfar! Congrats Saramakos. Please send me your e-mail and the 5.99 game of your choice.

Given the tremendous participation, and effort, I have decided that there will be a bonus round tonight! (Later tonight, as in a few hours probably, not now). Thanks everyone.

keeveek: Wow, that was hard! I was trying around an old map and follow the guesses and questions. Nice entertainment!

PS. And when we may expect our won game codes to arrive? And they will be sent via PM?

Thanks again! :-) Great contest!
Yes, it was a tough one. One of the problems was that there were a lot of posts, so people kept missing the crucial yes/no's and had to ask them over again. (For example, when we answered it didn't exist anymore, people still guessed cities that existed, then we said it was in Africa, people were still guessing outside of Africa because they missed the posts, or people were guessing fictional cities after we established it was real. I thought that someone would eventually ask stuff like, "does it have 4 letters?", "does it have 6 letters?" etc.)

I am going to send the game codes tonight. When they will arrive is sorta up to GOG (but presumably within an hour later). The way it works is that GOG e-mails you a code and you punch it in here on the website and then you can redeem the game.

Reminder: bonus round tonight! My way of showing thanks to the excellent fun and participation that everyone displayed during the EPIC question #3. Given all the effort you put in, you definitely deserve another shot. Everyone will be eligible, except winners of round 2. That means winners of round 1 are eligible, if they want.

All right :-)

So thank you again, and if possible, send me the code through GOG PM system, i don't really trust my e-mail provider, haha :-)

Good night to everyone!

Ok, in that case I can gift it to myself and then send the code to you.

Actually, I might just gift them all to myself and then distribute the codes. It's actually easier that way since I can gift them all to one e-mail address at a time. (Whereas if I gift them to 3 separate e-mails, I have to make 3 separate orders).

Works for me :)

That might not be great idea - buying it all on one order I mean. I tried that some months ago, and you get a single code for the entire purchase, not one per game.

Shoot! Seriously?? I just did it...lol

Ahh, son of a gun!

Well, now I have a code for three games. I dunno. Maybe I'll get them individually for the others, then I'll have a PACKAGE for the bonus round. What do you guys think?

Definitely check back if you can, because I think the bonus round is now going to have a 3 pack of specific games. Hopefully there are a few people that don't have any of the 3.

The 3 pack has:

1. Witcher: Enhanced Edition, The
2. MDK 2
3. XIII

Can I get a sense from the community if anyone doesn't have any of those 3? Because if so, we can have the round go for all 3 of those in one package.

Depending on what the games are, not all hope is lost.
If someone owns one or more games in the "bundle", they can only claim the games they don't already own.
So, if by chance one of the winners owns two of the games, and another one of the games, then it works out in the end.

What were the three games?

You could try seeing if support can "un-oopsie" that one?
Otherwise I am sure this community has someone very deserving!

Ah, now that is smart thinking. I'm sure support can help out.
avatar
stoicsentry: Snip.
Support should be able to help out. If not, I can provide you with 3 separate codes for the games in exchange for the code you have for all 3. Send me a PM if you need my assistance.

Surprisingly, I own none of them. I am planning on buying Witcher in a day or two. But you should do like saramakos said, you should contact support and ask if they can unpackage them.
