Hopefully you have managed to refill your "gaming change bank" to take advantage of our next round of incredible deals.

Starting from tomorrow we'll be offering special one-day promos on some of GOG.com's "hidden" gems. These quick promos will be made in a similar way to our usual "GOG.com Gems Promo" that we've been running for some time now. Just like the Wednesday promos, we're going to highlight some of the lesser known classics in our catalogue. With this newspost we're giving you a heads-up that you should check back GOG.com every day until 25th of July. We'll be offering all of the hidden gems of this promo for sale at 60% off, so keep your eyes peeled so you don't miss out on a great deal for a game you've been waiting to buy for months. The first "Summer Hidden Gem" will be revealed tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. EDT (10:00 a.m. GMT)! Be there or be square! ;)
Dangit, and I JUST bought baldur's gate 1 & 2, oh well. Let's see planescape on there! If there's some true classics that go on sale, I'll be getting em.

Nordwolf: *lol*

But for our students it's the same... exams are starting next week and ending in mid or late August... Luckily, I can ask the questions and do not need to answer them ;o) Maybe I give them some extra points when they've heard about the gog hidden gem promos...
Back in time, when I was a student, we had exams from May to the end of June (and sometimes, at the very beginning of July), and then in September.

How cruel is it to take the summer holidays away from the students?

And you really think that Baldur's Gate or Planescape games are "hidden gems"? Those babies sell themselves, no need for a promo.

Yeah! Sounds great.
Boo ! These things are annoying because it's always inevitable that I'll miss something I want when I'm not able to get online for a day Better to just put them all up at once for a week. Or alternatively just give me all of them ;)...... that's right, give in to the urge. Feel your business sense and resolve weakening and succumb. Yesssss....
i'm still in the process of spending on steam sales D: you can't do this to me GoG i need this money for D&D stuff!
my wallet just ran off in search of money
Pity free time does not go on sale, eh?

Words more true have never been spoken.
I need Settlers II and Ishar Compilation to be a part of that promo! That will make my life complete!
Up until now the GOG's Staycation and Steams Summersale have been disappointing for me. Hopefully this will change with these Promo's!
The big question : JoWooD or Interplay ? :p
3.99 for Planescape Torment please! I know it won't happen though because the promo said "lesser-known classics".

I don't think the BG and PST games really qualify as hidden gems!
How about Battle Isle Series? It deserves a good promotion!

SLP2000: Isn't the summer made for summer holidays, not for studying?
avatar
keeveek: I think in Italy you have 10 months of vacation and then 2 months to study. :P
Unfortunately the only month in which there aren't exams in Italy is August.
And having so little free time you have to choose between going to the beach or playing games.
It' s really a sad life :-(
