Roberttitus: I think will add a few more considering that I only listed L.A. Noire

1. Shenmue II- I loved the first game at the time but this was a major step down in terms of quality. As a matter of fact, the only part of the game that I actually liked was the 1st chapter... Chapter 2 & 3 were atrocious. You have that fat dude chasing you the entire 2nd chapter & Ryo is scared shitless of him.... yet he wants to fight Lan Di who is like a thousand times better of a fighter than him... yep that makes sense. Then all you do in the 3rd chapter is walk (not run) through a forest talking to Shenhua for roughly 3 LONG HOURS (at least it felt like it). I honestly don't see why some people feel it is a superior game.
Man did I ever hate that game. Two of my friends told e how great the game was, what a let down. I can’t believe you even finished the game.

SillyHollow: You really had that with HL2? When did you play the game for the first time?
When it first came out, I don't think it's a bad game by any means, just not nearly as awesome as the first one. I really liked it at the beginning, but when it turned into go from A to B in vehicle X not so much.
Thief: The Dark Project

Heard so many great things about the game, and it turned out to be completely not my cup of tea. Nothing against the game itself, just not my type.
So far Alice 2, that's not to say it's bad, it just wasn't quite as good as I was hoping for a sequel. Oh, and it's long as hell too.
Another one I'd have to say: Sacred 2.

I loved Sacred, and I honestly expected great things out of Sacred 2.. and while it's still a great game, something just feels a little off about it.. like it just doesn't take itself seriously at all. It's really hard to follow the plot, and everything seems .. generic. Even the classes are less interesting than Sacred Gold.
There are so many that I'll list only a few of them.

KOTOR 2 (and any sequel developed by Obsidian): I've no idea how on earth are they still in the business, since they produce garbage after garbage after garbage.

Syberia: One of the most boring games ever. Double click on the edge of the screen, wait 15 seconds until the protagonist reaches the next area, double click the edge of the next screen, wait 30 seconds until she reaches the next area, solve a ridiculously simple puzzle, go back to where you were (which will take an extra minute or so), ..., ad infinitum.

All GTA Games (and Mafia as well): I just don't get it, where's the fun in these games? The driving is terrible, the shooting is terrible, the minigames are terrible...

Master of Orion 3: I really tried to enjoy this game, but the developers made sure that this was not an option when you installed it.

Civ 5: The only game I pre-ordered in my entire life, only to find out that it's a dumbed down version of my favorite series of all time.

Mafia 2 - so much worse than the prequel.
Duke Nukem Forever - 15 years man!
Dungeons - not like Dungeon Keeper at all...

Mentalepsy: Soul Reaver. I'm a big Legacy of Kain fan, and this particular installment seems to be a fan favorite. I hate it.
I played Blood omen: legacy of kain in psx.. One great game. And I liked soul reaver but didn't love it. Soul 2 is in the same line than Reaver 1.
Then we have Legacy of kain: defiance. What a piece of crap. At least I didn't like it.

Edit: Broken sword 4.. That series has gone downhill since part 2.. Three was bearable. Four, I don't want to talk about it. *sheds a virtual tear*

What exactly are you talking about? I think I have an idea & if it is what I think it is, it way explained in a newspaper.

For me, GTA was all about the freedom to just screw around in an enormous world. I bought a 3-pack about a year or two ago, containing GTAIII, Vice City, and San Andreas, and San Andreas is the only one that really held me, because of all the three you have the most freedom with this one, driving or running or climbing on certain rooftops. I get the feeling that GTAIV, since it's essentially set in NY, that your options are mostly street and sidewalk, lots and lots of grey. Then again, maybe there are some cheats to liven things up; GTA:SA had a lot and made things more interesting easier to beat at times. :)

I tried to get through as much of the story as I could when I'd get tired of just messing around; the only "real" complaint I have is what is holding me back from completing the game (afaik): the frikkin' flying. I abhor trying to maneuver the planes around through specific loops.
EOB 3
M & M 9
Guild Wars
DA 2

While I really don't like the GTA series all that much (I much prefer Saints Row), I really don't agree with that statement. You can fly, drive boats & swim. Not to mention that there are plenty of parks in the game & Star Junction which is one of the most colorful places I have seen in any sandbox game to date.

the thing he does after vice and the reason he gets put in Arson, no backstory as to why he did that
