So basically I just want to know, is there a free file sharing service, that has direct links to your files, and has the ability for you to check the number of times a file has been downloaded?

Thanks!

Considering that the vast majority of GOG files are for sale, I'd say NO!

edit: nevermind, misunderstood the question!!!

Lol!! I'm not posting GOG files! I need it for an installer to a source port I made :)

@Namur: Thanks, but Mediafire only has direct links if you pay...the reason I want direct links is so that people don't get annoyed by being sent to another site when they try to download it :)

You could try a free web hosting service - though you might have to find a script to keep track of the number of unique downloads. [Or you could code one yourself, quite easy to do really - basic knowledge of either Perl or PHP will get you by]

Most "free" download services out there have limitations like Mediafire - they require you to go through their landing page without a direct link, as the ads on the landing page are what allows the service to be free.
I have a web server...I might look into that! Thanks! (If anyone else has any more ideas I'd still love to hear them! :)

No ads on Mediafire here, and the link is CLEARLY visible.
