Zchinque: Hey, baz, seeing as you're next on the hosting list, I was just wondering if you have your setup ready?
No, I haven't had the time to do that yet. I have a few ideas, but nothing definite. I could use some help finalising it, but that won't be before mid-May, I guess.
GOG Mafia #3 - Jacks of all Trades has ended with a Mafia win.
I will be putting myself back on the hosting list.

I can help you out with balancing the setup if you wish, just drop me a PM.

Also, seeing as I guess you're probably still not ready, I'm going to ask Damnation who is next in line to start signups.
Signup thread for Mafia #4 is here.
Does anyone intend to host game with more players?

I think Zchinque has such in mind, but perhaps baz will once he gets a setup done?

Indeed!
I am currently planning that my next game will be ~16-17 players, but it depends a bit on how many sign up for the games running in the meantime. We don't have all that many players here in total, yet.

I do also have some ideas for some rather experimental 12-man games that could be fun.

I actually also had an experimental idea I'd like to run, but it's preferable to start with something more secure first :)
Am suddenly kind of tempted to run a game too, but have no idea on a good setup so I'll hold off for later!

Well okay I have ideas but they're crazy complex games which likely won't go over too well. No simpler setup then, heh. Yeah, experimental games.. :)

If you don't mind me possibly cancelling when the time comes (depending on RL situations), I think I'd like to join the hosting list too though please. I'll just borrow a setup from somewhere else.

Probably a wise choice. I'm not going to say what people can and cannot do in their setups, but I will encourage first time mods who haven't played that many games to start with something relatively simple. Much easier to balance that way.

Great! I hope you'll be able to realize it here. I would prefer bigger game to experimental if you want my opinion. :-)

Right now I am eager to play. After more than two weeks of limited internet I finally got steady internet access and I almost immediately used it on ending the game. Oh, the irony. :-)

Well, if we get enough players signing up for mafia 4, we'll be starting on sunday :D

Thanks, I'll do that.

I'm flying home on Friday; I'll have to do some important things first when I return, but I should be able to prepare my game over the next week or two, which should conveniently be just about time M2 finishes (if not, I'll wait for that to happen). So I'd estimate M5 should be up and running well before the end of the month, unless something goes wrong.

As I said, I'll try running a faster game with stricter time limits, but probably not a big one, as these two conditions don't quite mix.
Ah, I guess that the new PM system is probably going to kill off the old.

Such a shame... Oh well, out with the old, in with the new, that's the point of GOG, right? :p
