Leroux: Hm .. in that case maybe I'd better get it now. If the discount deal with Steam ends tomorrow, I'd be surprised if GamersGate was allowed to let it run much longer. And if I already have to ponder about buying it for 25% off, in the end I'd probably never buy it at full price. :D
Carpe Fulgur's announcement said that Fortune Summoner's 25% off sale will be for a week after its release. GamersGate's release was about... half a day later than Steam's, so I expect the sale to end half a day after Steam.
Leroux: I've played through the demo and bought the full game, but the passage from demo to full game is not as fluent as I had hoped for. After the prologue, it says "to be continued" and then something like "Now that you've bought the full game, please return to the menu and load your Prologue data in order to continue". And when I do that I get two options "Main Quest" or "Bonus Quest". If I select Bonus Quest I get to search for another cave Colm supposedly told the girls about, without me, the player, ever hearing him say that.
What's the meaning of that? Is it a quest you could have found when playing the full game from the start but that was removed from the demo? If you play the full game from the start, will you also get a message after the Prologue that your game was saved and you are required to load it in order to continue? Or will there be no "to be continued" but the fluent passage that I was hoping for instead? Has anyone played through the Prologue with the full game and can enlighten me? Thanks! :)
I never played the demo and bought and played the full game from the beginning. I get the same message.
The extra dungeon is a bonus dungeon. It is not mentioned in the main story.
I don't think smooth transition is possible. From what I know, the demo has a different way of implementing Marks of Heroism, thus requiring a game engine reset.
