KneeTheCap: I am rather disappointed about the way that ended. I really wanted to see major clash, where angry users would charge with armored bears (and dolphins) against the evil force of EABio. What a sight that would have been. You know, Bioware's last stand or something :D

But seriously, while I don't really believe in the "it was a glitch" explanation, it's the official and most likely final statement. Shame really.

Wonder is this gets forgotten soon?
Well here's the thing, it could possibly happen here too. The login I use to get into GoG's forum is the same login that gives me access to my library. The only difference is, as long as we have those games backed to disk, you can go a few days without access to them.

I assume the armoured dolphins would be directed at EA's infamous underwater lair?

Of course this will get forgotten soon. If it wasn't, EA would have cause to fire their entire PR department for not doing their bloody jobs. A defusing statement has been made, the forums will die down, and posts complaining about this will be replaced with 'When's the patch being released?' threads.

God forbid a customer criticise a company for its faults!
Yeah, the people in that forum seem to be pretty nasty. I don't think anyone was seriously offended by what he said, I think hacks reported him, knowing what would happen, for shits and giggles.

Namur: The clusterfuck release of DA2: Copypasta Edition just keeps getting better and better, uh ? Entertainers everywhere should sit down and take notes, because this is high value entertainment. I wish there was a release like this one every other day, i could easily give up on cable and save myself some serious coin.

I blame this whole mess on the taller than humans dark silver Irish speaking pro-ana na'vi rejects posing as elves in DA2 because they were too damn fugly and not nearly blue enough to get a gig in Avatar.
Runehamster should have marked this thread as a question, because I think that once again Namur has delivered the solution.

Maybe in the forums, but it's been picked up by Kotaku, Reddit, and Slashdot at my last count. The wider internet that doesn't fawn all over every video game from particular franchises is less likely to forgive. Also, this is just more fodder for throwing at Steam and DD in general. Crap like this goes way beyond hurting just EA, it hurts the entire medium, because they are all going this way.

Give it a month and EA will produce a patch that adds more dungeon types, free aim for spellcasting and a free dog collar DLC and everyone will love them again.

If they add a robe, wizard hat and a spell of +5 attractiveness then they might be onto something.

Seriously, the elves 2.0 are an atrocity. Now i understand why they don't want people playing as one. As a matter of fact unless it was a game like Penumbra or something like that i wouldn't want them anywhere near a game of mine, never mind letting people play as one.

Hey now! Poorly modelled attempts at elves need love too!
