Another update of it! That is great. I played with the overhaul in the Fall and it was wonderful - it brought the game so much new life after so many years. It is definitely one of those games I think I will be able to go back to for a long time.
I replayed Morrowind some time ago with the mod compilation that came out was it ~new year's? The MGE one or what was it called? Personally, I found it immersion breaking and I really preferred the game in the unmodded state. Unfortunately the game wouldn't let me revert without losing my save, so I dropped it.

Admittedly, this does look beautiful, but eye candy has never been important for me.

N0x0ss: Would gladly play morrowind again, but I got spoiled by the teleportation system in oblivion and skyrim... and it doesn't feel great to cheat in morrowind by entering teleportation commands :s ...
The fast travel system in Oblivion really killed it for me. Sure, the world was huge, but fast travel made it seem small and arbitrary.
I really loved it how you had to plan your trip in Morrowind - it was a meta-game. Silt strider, boat, Mages Guild, Divine Intervention, Almsivi Intervention, Mark & Recall, etc. Mastering all of this taught you a lot about the game!
This is awesome. Now i Just need to buy it. Were is the best place to buy it?
I have spent too much time playing Morrowind to play it again. I promis myself I will find time to finish the game one more time with new character thou.

Unfortunately it was on sale on Steam not so long ago.
It's 13 quid here, which is a lot, but reasonable value considering how much game time you will get out of this.

Well perhaps I will wait for the steam summer sale. I don't have that much of time now actually, so i think I can bear waiting with my current backlog.
But I presume steam is the best place to buy it is that it?

Not a bad decision - Morrowind will soak up your life to no end.

You know the ol' Steam pros and cons. If it's your thing, get it from there.
I'm not aware of other sites that sell it.
You can always get the retail version as well!
Make sure it's GOTY (includes Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions).
Looks like it's finally time to get around to playing Morrowind. :D
I love this mod! With it, Morrowind is definitely my favorite Elder Scrolls game. The water in the screenshot looks different from mine though. How did you get it to look like that?

Probably a newer version. Does your installed version have an autoupdater? 'Cause that would help :D
This looks awesome, but then again there are a lot of games I should play and I hardly get to play at all nowadays...
And of course I already played Morrowind for a loong time ;-)
Thanks for sharing this, I hope to get some new Morrowind players here. Although if GOG would just sell Morrowind then that would help too. I feel that compilations like this really help get newer players introduced to the wonderful world of modding. But for veteran players they are not quite as helpful. Invariably there are always one or two mods included that I either don't like or they conflict with some other mod that I really want. I have my Morrowind modded to near perfection right now and I'm a little hesitant to add anything but that one final mod to make it complete. Unfortunately I can't find my last mod, because it doesn't exist, because it is impossibleto to create, at least for me and every other modder I've talked to about it.

Anyways, if anyone doesn't have Morrowind then get it and set aside a few months to play around in this wonderful open world. And if you get a chance there is actually a main quest in there somewhere.

The best in the TES if you ask me. The Tribunal quest is also great! One of the few shockers in gaming that really hit home for me.

Or you could use the Morrowind Fast Travel. 120 Strength, light armor (glass) or clothes, Jump enchants, and you can leap from your Telvanni tower all the way to the Bloodmoon isle, or from Vivec to Gnisis, in a single leap.

You aren't Telvanni? Heretic. ^_^

That's the kind of char that I played, but it wasn't quite that extreme ;)
Still, I loved the mobility that it gave you!
Also, Stealth becomes insane at high levels. You can simply re-stealth right in front of your enemies and continuously backstab them. Happy days!

I have to agree. Got to the 'end' bit and had a serious "I really did not see this coming moment". Awesome.
