Only thing I disagree with him on is his comparison of the KKK to the modern-day Tea Party, which is hyppocritical considering the KKK actually has it's roots in the Left and not the Right. In fact, we could have a whole other discussion about how Democrats are so suddenly and mouth-frothingly anti-racist all of a sudden in the 21 century when throughout history they've actually been the racist party if you want.

I think he's talking more about radical feminists. Modern feminists are more like 'humanists' - men's rights and equality is a big part too, but I guess the term 'feminist' is still used is because men still do have more power, earn more money, and are less discriminated than women, so gender equality still mostly means focusing on women's rights and issues.

I guess it's different in other cultures and countries but I think that JCD or that bearded fellow in youtube link has some points.
If feminism really was about equality, it would be different, now it's mostly a synonym about women being right all the time and what they do even if it is a same thing what a man does, it's better. They just want the whole cake without taking the rotten cherries on the top. =)

I think you don't know anything about 19th century politics. An 1860 democrat is almost nothing like a 2012 democrat. They were certainly not 'left', and were originally opposed to the federalists, who were the 'left' party of the time.

Read a damned history book.

Edit: I also don't think an 1860 democrat will be enough to run ARMA 2 on max settings.

Feminism is a farce. Women are both the dominant sex, and in areas where they are not, they are by choice.

The entire world revolves around men posturing in areas such as career advancement, social status, and wit/oration in order to attain the approval of the most fecund female possible.

The so-called "inequality" and preferential treatment that men possess are in areas where women have "no horse in the race" such as the aforementioned striving for power and status in the workplace, social group, etc.

In addition, men and women *are* different. There cannot be equality through the farce that is "affirmative action" while this politically correct nonsense persists. Men and women tend t excel in different areas, from a genetic predisposition point of view, and in a social role perspective.

The areas that men traditionally excel are reserved for men because these positions are the bedrock of our western society. To complain that most CEO's, managers, top paid athletes, etc are white males is like a guy complaining that girls doin;t buy HIM drinks, or that girls don't lavish HIM with attention and gifts in order to get laid.

That's how life works. Men spend their lives devoting significant time and resources to preening for available females, coupling with the most desirable available out of those receptive to his standing/abilities. Why is this so fucking complicated?

Well, I think alot of people didn't even watch the video I featured. The man in the video explains that feminism is very one sided, and that many feminists don't want equality, they want dominance.
I'm a humanist, not advocating that men are better, but that they are equal to women. That's pretty much all the video is.

Pretty much this guys. Watch/read the material given next time before trolling and troll calling next time.

EDIT:
It seems this user I quoted doesn't completely agree with my stance on women. I think women are 100% equal, not just mentally, but physically. It's social myths and nonsense that has clouded our judgement otherwise to think that either gender is better or worse than the other at anything. Following this, I think women should be free to join combat roles in the infantry, not drafted of course, it should be their choice.
There are just as many stupid or physically challenged men as women. Like I said, any thinking to the contrary is social myth passed down by idiots.

The thing is, you didn't assert your own opinion on anything. If you want a civil discussion, perhaps you should try starting one off (with your own opinion), instead of pointing to someone else's opinion and going "hey guys, look at this because I agree with it".

If I agree with someone else's opinion, that means I share said person's opinion. Following that logic, I think I successfully asserted my opinion by showing you the opinion of someone else who I think voiced my opinion in a way that I couldn't have done better myself.
