First reply!

I orderd Balls of Steal for the PC and the normal one for the X360!! Can't wait for the demo. Should be comming out next week since I got a mail from gearbox saying I needed to tell them for what platform I wanted the demo.

Yup hearded them all. Did you also read that the game is already gold? They only need a certification from MS and Sony. But PC is already done. :)

GameRager: That's my fave, 2nd is the babes trailer. My fave funny ones are the feces one and possibly the shrinkage one.

The files are here, both a self extracting installer and a zipfile(for those who have an older version already installed and who just want to update.....just drop the hrp zipfile and the maphacks zipfile into the eduke32 autoload folder and you should be all good to go.) -

Anyone know anything about the "Limited Edition" player's guide? A four-hundred page guide for Duke? Seems almost superfluous, don't you think? I mean, for a straight up FPS, the only thing you'd need a "guide" for is secret areas and boss strategies. Of course, apparently the last one hundred pages are strictly art dedicated to DNF and past games, but is it art that's already included in the Balls of Steel edition of the game?

No, I think they just want money. Have you seen the past few "Limited Edition" guides? In Fallout NV and Mortal Kombat and a couple others, the authors have written copouts like "We're not gonna put down all the damage values, since they're probably going to change in a 'balance-issue addressing patch'".
