uchristensen: Amnesia got a run of 3 hours, 35 minutes and 29 seconds.
3 hours and a half, really?! Haha I just came back to check what whas going on (thinking the sale was over by now) and I found Amnesia on sale with less than one minute on the clock! I don't think I've ever bought a game so fast.

I've decided that I imagine the games on my shelf as a little bit like the characters in the Five characters in Search of an Exit.

Only they don't get to climb out and realize what is happening they just get to sit there wondering what is going on and why they are all together like that.
BUMP for my Classifieds post about missed TM games here.

It's gratifying to see that Deus Ex continues to do so well. I wish more developers (and especially publishers!) would take the hint.

What was the longest time-to-completion from the Insomnia (I almost wrote "Amnesia") sale? It all seems so long ago. So very long ago...

You're kidding, yes?

bugamn: It depends. How many of them have you already played?

deryni: You are supposed to actually play the games on your shelf?

I thought you were just supposed to look at them and feel depressed about not having the time to play them?
That sounds about right to me.

Were you around during the Insomnia Sale? If yes, you would have never ever be able to forget that Jack Keane 2 was the game that stood out with around (maybe slightly above) 5hrs during the second round. Of course JC Denton beat poor Jack, but the cult of Jack lives on regardless.
He is Just Kidding too.

Spelunky (2013) will be the last one, I think.
I predict that after the 2013 game, Jack Keane 2 will show up with the insomnia background and around 10 copies for sale. Thus will we learn the dangers of tampering with time in a way Back to the Future could never teach us..

Whoops! Miscounted the year there!

There sure have been a good number of dungeon crawlers. I wonder if that's proportional to the total offerings on GOG.
At first this promotion was fun, as I waited to see which games would come up. But now this is getting really annoying, The only two games I could have bought since police quest, I missed because I was away from my PC. ( Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Unepic) sleeping or taking my daughter to school. I have seen and been able to buy most of the rest but I already have them. (I missed torchlight again because of sleep. But I already have it), I hope that GOG turn back time and put all of these titles back on sale for those of us that have other things to do than watch the PC for 2 days.
