FlatOut was a weak choice. Sam & Max was a good deal at that price. Who the heck is on GOG and doesn't have Witcher 1 yet??

Apparently a lot of people.

This sale has probably attracted new customers who don't yet own The Witcher (or anything) on GOG yet.

But yes, I'm surprised it's selling as well as it has considering it's been discounted heavily and even free in recent months.

How is the witcher? I've never played it but I have also heard mixed reception. Well i guess to make things easier. What sort of RPG would you say I'd have to enjoy to like it? Just so I can get an understanding.
I think that next time we should also track the amount of time that passes between when a sale ends and when the first persons posts "Dang, I missed game X". ;)

Well, I own the original Collector's Edition box, I own the Enhanced Edition box, but I never bothered to also purchase it on GoG... which has been corrected now. :)

Man. From my country, waiting for the last 5 games make this an "insomnia sale". It's already night time here...
Thanks for the list! Dang, missed 3 that I would have snagged. :P

Did get one to try out :)

A game with a great story. Some could say that the gameplay isn't that stellar to likes of Skyrim, but it's worth it, especially for the price.

It's a third person RPG and can be thought of as something similar to Fallout 3 or Skyrim in that sense. A bit more linear, but it has a great story as I already mentioned.

Maybe GOG did a good job in acquiring new members lately (like me, joined for the Fallout giveaway).
And if I did not miss anything The Witcher wasn't on sale with that discount since then (bought it now :D).
A lot more linear than Fallout 3 or Skyrim. I think it would be better compared against the original Fallout. It doesn't have a big world, but its story is bigger than Skyrim's.
The Witcher is doing great, certainly vindicates GOG for putting it in there in the first place. It stands alongside System Shock 2, Deus Ex, and Torchlight as games that continue to sell well here in spite of the common wisdom that everyone has them already. :)

I still hope for a "Grand Final" with all 30 games on sale for 90 mins plus 3 seconds for every buy to purchase the missed offers. ;)
Wow, I'm surprised to see the Witcher still going this strongly (but yay, didn't miss anything while away).
