Just bought The Witcher! Now I can finally play it and be prepared for when I play Witcher 2 and 3! Great sale!

mondo84: My times agree with yours within one minute, except on Prince of Persia - that deal was live from 5:31 GMT to 7:24 GMT for a total of [1:53], not [1:20]. Even so, if you add up the times with [1:20] it doesn't work out to the recorded start for The Witcher.
I'm just going by what was provided in this post. I'm not doing any time tracking myself, so am happy to use the more accurate figures others provide. :)

Yea no worries, I was just comparing what I recorded to onyx and saw that discrepancy, figuring I should mention it (looks like Cavalry ninja'd me on that one).

Aside from that, differences of 1-2 minutes are a fine margin of error. There are a variety of factors, like ISP connection/latency, rounding to the nearest minute, etc. Tracking the times is just meant to be a fun way of staying engaged in the sale. At least, that's how I've approached it. Nothing worth worrying/stressing about. :)

edit - also, for similar types of future sales, we could maybe assign duties for recording sale trends/stats in time blocks so that everybody can get rest and whatnot.

huh... so whaddaya know. Apparently in November I got The Witcher for free when I picked up SimCity 2000 and Alpha Centauri for ~$2 each. looking back through my invoices, it says "FREE witcher to every paid order !"

I was excited to see it pop up. What a let down. :)

That's a good idea. I would also like to institute a "buy share" between established users. Basically you would share your wishlist with another who will be on when you are away, and they can nab any deals you want but miss. And you would do the same in kind. Naturally it would have to be with someone you are comfortable with, and you'd have to communicate your on/off times rigorously. But such a system could take out a lot of the stress for folks.

One difference, at least for me, between current and insomnia sale is absent of freebies. No one is sleeping with cursor on "get free" button ready to ninja'd what comes next:) No server unavailability due to thousands connections and so on:) That was funny

You can install barefoot essentials in your browser and sign up to the GOGWiki, then you can show off your games and share your wishlist with anyone.

I should probably have shared this earlier, but I've been keeping track of the offers myself.
The start times of each offer has been recorded from the AJAX-call to fetch the next offer, where it is given in plain text. The running times are calculated based on those numbers.
