mistermumbles: Figured as much. Went to the library downtown to pick up some books, went to see a movie at the cinema, and browsed one of our many local game shops (the physical board variety), and we're still just barely two years further along. Guess this'll drag out through all of tomorrow still if not longer.
So far all the games on display I either own already or have little interest in. I doubt that'll change, although I wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised.
You mean
this Overlord? ;)
Yes, but what I meant is that I own it on Steam, not on GOG - I didn't mean it wasn't available on GOG. ;o)
I got the entire Overlord Collection in November from Greenman or somewhere for like $2 or something. That was a much greater discount than I was likely to ever see on GOG anytime soon so I bit my tongue and went for it on Steam instead. If the prices are close, I'll pay GOG a little bit more, but if it's a case where the price is half or less somewhere else for Steam codes, it depends on the game and other factors but I'll sometimes opt to get it elsewhere even though my #1 preference is GOG. ;) I did the same with the Hitman collection, Tomb Raider collection, Still Life series, Syberia series (although after already buying Tomb Raider 1-3 on GOG also), just because the price was right. ;)
