I just saw the timer go "+63 seconds" there... Then count down by one second for many more seconds before more time was added. That seems a little anomalous to me. That would be 21 sales all occurring within the same one second and then many seconds of no sales. Just seems very odd. I'm guessing that GOG is not sending out the timer update notifications to clients synchronously but rather gathering them together over some fraction of a minute and only sending out updates say... every 15 seconds asynchronously to update the timers. I never looked at the code, but it must be doing something like that to have +63s added all in one shot followed by 15+ seconds of steady countdown without additions. Anyone else notice strange jumps like that also?

I think they update the stuff every 10/20" as a semi-programmer I always use a clock to "real time" things!

I just observed the DX timer to jump from 7 minutes left to 36 minutes left.

That could be from your browser not handling the callback properly. Basically it is just counting down, rather than fetching the changes in time from GOG. I had that happen on my tablet last night, a sale appeared to end on there but was actually going strong on GOG due to all the buying. Best to manually refresh if you think the counter looks wrong, or if you suspect it's not tracking properly.

Hurm, I can probably go another 3 hours. I expect the current sale to wrap in about an hour now, given the increase in entropy. Depending on the following game, I might have time to catalogue a couple more. Or not. :)
