WOW will probably go F2P if the new expansion fails.

While I certainly don't see Mists as a reason to come back (especially since every time I've attempted to get into the game, I've stopped playing within two months out of boredom), don't underestimate the power of the panda. :p

As for WoW going f2p, I'm sure it'll happen eventually, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

On topic - got it, downloaded the client, waiting for 0000 Tuesday morning. :)

Installed but waiting for the disc, which means that I'll only get to play tomorrow evening.

Oh well, I'll have time to stock up on provisions for the next week or so.

Installed as well but no delivery today. Just gonna walk to the store tomorrow and if it's there (was going to be pickup) then I'll get it, if not I'm cancelling it, taking a walk around to see if another store has it and else I'm just getting it from Blizzard directly.

I'm actually going to play single player first but... servers are required all the same. So... Yeah... =)

I'm genuinely curious if their servers will stay up, they should have some pretty good experience in scaling, which is easier than ever these days, by now. But, it's D3 and they're going to be HAMMERED.

I just bought it over Battle.net. Downloading the thing now.

I do hope it unlocks before midnight here, though (GMT -3:00, so it should be avaliable at 21:00).
