Hey Players of Demigod!
Let us list our Impulse IDs and have some matches, I just started playing Demigod today and I had a blast, but need more people to play it with, and who better than GOG folks!
Right-o I'll start.
Impulse ID:
Yazleb

Dude, he's dead.
well, not really dead so much as just having a different personality all together and not remembering his past at all...
I mean, to continue the joke,
He's busy knockin' boots with Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena.
The game is gold, beta has passed, this is a list for people playing the retail one, I thought I would start a new list.
:D

add your impulse ID on here so us GOGers can play Demigod together!
I'm there too... WolfoxBR.
I just played my first single player skirmish (Torch Bearer) to get the hang of it, but I'll be online before long. :)

I want to buy this game.. buuut.. I'm not sure my comp will run it, I'll bounce it off the GOG peoples first:
I meet all the minimum requirements, and most of the recommended specs, with one exception:
It requires a 128 meg, Radeon X1600, recommends a 256 meg .. 2600 I think.
I have a 256 meg X1300. Should it still run, if set to "shittastic" settings?
I'm waiting for a demo, since my internal intel card is not supported, but has been known to pleasantly surprise me with games that did not support it.
I'll get back to you by then =)

In those cases I usually recommend trying the demo. In this case it may be a little while due to their network issues.

My system should run it, but agan I am another waiting for a demo. Normally games that don't release with a demo (unless its very large RPGs etc...) sends warning bells to me that the gameplay is not up to standard enough and thus developers don't want to risk losing players to a demo.
Sadly its now the norm to release a game and then release a demo later - Stardock did very well with Sins of a Solar Empire and so they have my confidence - but still demo please :)
I borrowed the game from a friend to see if it ran on my laptop. For people in the same boat as me:
my laptop with an intel 2.26 ghz dual core processor, Mobile intel GMA 4500MHD video card and 3g working memory runs the game very smoothly when I set the general graphical settings to low and then turn the textures and details to high (I'm fond of pretty textures, but couldn't care less about fancy effects).
Which is good, since I was looking for a new game to play online ^ ^
Now I only need to get a hold of one of those shiny coupons that are supposedly going to be sent out soon..
