When you purchase the game, checkmark "Select to gift this order" and either put Tarm's email or your own email. If you put in your own, you can PM the code you receive to Tarm.

Be sure to only get that game because all games in the purchase will be bundled into one key!

What? Did I win a game by failing a contest? I never win anything!

...this is confusing...

So you want it or not? No you did not won but in spirit we all won. So If you want it I will give it to you.
I know I came in late, but if you happen to have a similar dilemma in the near future, try watching some gameplay videos or a Let's Play from YouTube. That often helps me if I'm trying to decide whether I want to buy a certain game. For example, when Legend of Grimrock was released, it looked interesting because of the critical acclaim and the setting (four prisoners trying to escape what's basically a labyrinthian prison...what's not to like?) but then again I had never played dungeon crawlers before, so I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy the gameplay. But then, I watched a few episodes of a Let's Play of the game, and saw that yes, I will enjoy the game, and bought it.

Tarm: If you have ever enjoyed a 4X game even the slightest you SHOULD play Alpha Centauri. It's simply the pinnacle of that genre during its hey day. Even if it was released today with modern graphics it would be a top notch 4X game.
It's the only 4X game I think got everything right.

Don't worry about it being futuristic. The setting is not that far from our current technological level and the technologies you research, the descriptions of them and the movies you get when you build a wonder is so well done that they look like they're taken from real history.
Many of the technologies are things that scientists are thinking about already and making plans for.

Also the subplot regarding planet is well written. Adds tons to the atmosphere and brings the story/world/universe to life.

Edit: Whoops. Seems like I'm late to the party. :P

I wouldn't say no to a game. :) Though I already have Alpha Centauri so another game on sale would be better.

But I do not intend it to finish it as innocent as I started! So I offer one more copy of Alpha Centauri:

Undoubtedly!

Thanks to everyone who participated in this giveaway frenzy! I'll be damned if Alpha Centauri doesn't hit the top ten bestsellers in this week!

EDIT: Oh, wait! It already did! (#7 at the moment)

Enjoy the game!
Honestly... I don't see how any avid Civ player can switch to SMAC after playing Civ III. How about FreeCiv? Go ahead try it if you are nostalgic about the old ones, but Civ III is infinitely superior in terms of mechanics.

Oh and to whoever said that there isn't, allow me to correct you: there is an immense difference between each (or most at least) civilizations in Civ III. Everything ranging from how you pan out your opening play, what kind of tech you pick, whether you go to war early, what kind of units you use, etc etc etc. Civ III has an amazing amount of depth.

edit: also, Civ III is $4.99 on Steam for the yanks (with expansions). I'd infinitely recommend it over SMAC.
