Thanks to all who responded to my question re the Circus issue in MM..Mandate of Heaven.

In spite of two e mails to GOG over the last week, I still haven't heard from them. It seems as though some folks can forget about any kind of support from GOG. The nice folks on this forum were the only ones to offer any support.

This is sad.. The support a company gives it's customers is the standard that makes them something special. In this respect.... GOG has fallen short... very short.

I guess I'll be buying Witcher 2 from another source. The price is less than GOG is charging and the customer support can be no worse. Considering there doesn't seem to be any.. for me anyhow.

Many times over the decades, I've seen situations where customer service was a bust, but the Forums and gaming community came through.

Thanks for being there...

gameon: They usually take 3-4 days to get back to people usually. And they dont work weekends either....
I know their schedule... but it's been a week...

I had also e mailed them re my purchase of Ultima... many months ago. Never heard back on that one either.. so...............don't know what to think..

Usually on Steam & GamerGates it takes 4-5 to answer a support ticker... Considering that GOG is smaller company and considering that last week they had quite enough amount of holidays... Don't be that harsh ;)
... OK.... I'll cut 'em some slack and give it another week or two.. But, that doesn't explain why they never responded to my issue with Ultima.. This was not the first time they didn't respond. And there were no holidays when I made my Ultima request.

Your issue with Ultima ... Did GOG made Ultima? Answer that question to yourself...and you will understand my point... Ingame issues are mostly dealt by forum members..

gameon: Yeah, but in my experience, GOG have responded to in game issues. I had trouble with wing commander 3 in the past, and they responded several times to that.
Yes they can help with that, but issues with installs, downloads and payments are higher priority. And the site is growing every day so more customers...more support tickets... not enough work force on support team.

Maybe I'm unjust but I've actually stopped using customer service support over the net since everywhere I've tried I get an answer so seldom it's not worth it to try. And if I do get an answer it's a general Copy/Paste message.
When I have a problem I search the web for answers or if the company have a phone number in Sweden I call them.

Though I haven't needed to contact GOGs so I don't have any experience with them.

Yep a lot of companies use copy-paste support... the bigger the company ...support is worse...
Hi... it was not a game issue. It was a GOG issue..

Internet forums have only been around ~15 years, I reckon (in contrast to "over the decades"). Could you elaborate on what you mean? (I'm just curious.)
