I really hope you guys come to Linux finally before it's too late... valve monster machine would arrive with all their force and not stand up to it from the very begging could be an irremediable mistake.

SpirlaStairs: So Cyberpunk is coming out on consoles too?

I remember reading an article somewhere saying it was confirmed for PS3 and 360 but I can't find it again. Might just be my imagination.
Yes, but the important part is their main focus is on the PC version. :)

About the possible Windows 8 support, I wonder, would you really support Windows 8 in full, or just state that the games work on it?

(by support I mean certifying and listing the games in Windows Store, fixing all issues with Games Explorer, using non-system-wide folders for older games...)

Well as long as the consolve versions aren't a mere afterthought I'll be happy.

I didn't think I was going to be able to play it anytime soon after release, good to know I was wrong. :3

Doesn't windows store cut like 20% of profits when you sell trough it?

Nope, desktop software cannot be sold through the store, but it can be listed, thus giving GOG more exposure.

And, funny, you don't have to give any $ to Microsoft either, when you make a WinRT application. You can price the application for $0, and when the user starts it, notify him to buy it by using your own transaction system (if you have one in place) to unlock the features of the application.

EDIT: The entire thing is incredibly flexible, the bashing is really unjustified.

I will as soon as I can, I promise :P

unfortunately I don't have a lot of money at the moment, nor do I have a steady source of income, so it will have to wait for now :(

The game won't be released in a while so you can always save and I don't think you will need the most powerful anyway. You can get a mainstream PC for about 500-700$, that's what next gen consoles go for at release if I recall.
To those dreaming of a Project Pegasus release; Idk if this has been mentioned, but the game engine hit trunk in ScummVM only a few days ago, so it should be officialy supported in the near future. I tested my copy on Friday and it worked like a charm. Yay.
It would be nice if GOG starts supporting BOTH Linux and OSX. I'm starting to see more and more interest in Linux over the last year. There must be an audience because pretty much every game in the Humble Bundles are now offered for Linux. Plus, notice the games in development for Kickstarter are all promising a native Linux version. The recently released FTL is a good example of this.

If GOG and Steam went to Linux I could FINALLY totally ditch Windows. I've tried before, but I love playing games so dual boot is as far as I can go right now.

Any thoughts?

I very much agree but GOG has stated again and again in the past that Linux would be too much effort to support to their high standards. The Linux request also has more votes than the Mac OS request and Windows 8 request combined. Some have already stated that if they don't get the game for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS, that they will buy their games where they do get the game for all three major operating systems. That number is only going to increase.
I just noticed that the newest version of Ubuntu also releases Oct. 18 (announcement day). Is this a coincidence?

I googled it and it looks like ubunto is getting some sort of gaming support indeed.

If steam's doing it, GOG is definitally doing it.
Did you really think that both being on the 18th was a coincidence?
