The ninja thread was killed because of stupid people. Now we have Ninja V2, "Open this thread..." and various other threads for random code drops. Why? Because people couldn't MAHAYO (a simple and effective system). Now, since we've "solved" this problem, we're going on to the next one -> The Classifieds thread. Because people couldn't say "I don't know you, so please go first", we have three classifieds threads now. This'll surely scare of scammers.

Two actually, OP said that this thread is going to be locked, so OP and another member discussed some rules under PM with each other. Some were not happy with the rules so created a thread that is more flexible and effective. Not everyone needs to be punished for the actions of some stupid people.

Also Ninja thread 2 is dead and open this thread is mostly used by one member. Besides the ninja thread was locked by a mod!! And why are people so upset by this one thread. Look at how many spam and necro threads there are lately. Does that bother no one?

Can I suggest that anyone who has a problem with these new threads take it up privately with the person or persons in question?

This way, we can all continue to use the trade threads for their intended purpose, which is to trade games.

If you absolutely MUST say something about these new threads, make sure that it will be relevant to everyone in the thread (such as taking a public opinion poll about what the members of the thread want). Otherwise, if your message can be directed at a single person or small group of people, consider PMing them instead, in order to keep these threads clean and non-toxic.

I have only recently became a member of the GOG community, and so far I have had an extremely pleasant experience on the forums. Please don't sully this experience for me or any other members simply because you disagree with a single person's decisions.

haha what do you mean? you mean that I did refer to both classifieds thread? (we do have a choice)
Also it's not really my thread but GOG's thread ;) some members did help with the rules as well.

Also @OP will this thread get locked or not because you mentioned it yet nothing has happened??
