I miss Popeye's chicken. Right out of High school I did landscaping for a guy that owned a bunch of Popeye's stores. Free food everyday. Oh and BTW the secret ingredient to their biscuits is that they substitute 7-Up for water makes them sweeter and fluffier.

When I return to OSU, I will be greeted with a Chick-fil-A on campus that uses my meal plan. Awesome!

I get to pump my own gas in Oregon, but thats because I ride a motorcycle :D

And while my wife is a native Portlander, I will say that many Oregon women are SCARY.

Also, Gator...7-Up for WATER? I don't use water when I make biscuits, I make my own batter using flour, milk, buttermilk, etc. Where would I substitute the 7-up if I'm using home made batter?

They're helped along with a hefty dose of tax dollars, aid from the military, $1 land lease, all kinds of little perks to their pathetic homosexual hating bigoted asses.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you, that no one has mentioned the brownies from Chik Fil-A.
I love the place. A plain chicked sandwich with waffle fries and brownie make me very happy. :-)

Between that and Freebird's World Burrito, I need nothing more.

Now I really want to go there and get 10 orders of waffle fries.

Call it what you want. I call it having the balls to stand by your beliefs without bowing to the political correctness movement that says you can't have a negative opinion of anyone's lifestyle. They are a Christian corporation that tries to set an example for other Christian-based businesses. they don't even open on Sundays, the day most families go out to eat in America. I admire them AND love their food.

As a lapsed Catholic, I only have one thing to say to you:

Jesus didn't die in the cross so you could hate other people.

As for Chic-fil-A... well... fundy Christians are obviously gifted at making a chicken sandwich. I always feel like a demon when I eat there because my van has a bumper sticker on it that reads "Don't Pray in my School and I Won't Think In Your Church" and I have a Darwin lapel pin on my jacket.

But if they are willing to serve me a heavenly chicken sandwich, I'm willing to coexist too.

I once complained to them about being closed on Sundays. I suggested that there are probably a few out of work atheists who'd be happy to serve up some chicken on Sunday.
Then you've obviously never been to Oregon.
We aren't taking about food... we are talking about it... and last I checked, the Swiss have one cheese, a cuckoo clock, and a pocket knife with a spoon on it...

"Having a negative opinion of someone's lifestyle" is fine, funding political groups trying their hardest to limit the rights of those people whos's lifestyle you might disagree with in the name of a religion that not everyone follows is not the same as "disagreeing" and should be fought tooth and nail- for me, this means no longer purchasing chick-fil-a's heavenly sandwiches either, as I will never, ever support such people with my money. Christians trying to set an example by actually following the teachings of Jesus (instead of just condemning everyone and everything they don't approve of) is a sadly rare phenomenon.

You know, you can disagree vocally about one's lifestyle without hating, or even disliking, that person. I disagree with MANY of my family's life choices (as I am sure many of them disagree with many of mine), however I still love them. Most Christians I know feel this way about gays; they love them, but wish they would see the error of their ways***.

On topic, yes, Chick-fil-A does, in fact, rock. I don't go their often, but when I am in the mood for it, nothing quite hits the same spot. I also respect companies that are willing to stand up for what they believe in.

They should make a computer RPG (or just a side quest in an RPG) about a fast food company that makes yummy fried chicken but has an agenda that some people disagree with. What is the moral decision? Should we support an organization that is doing an action we consider wrong but the organization is doing what it believes in? Is it worth it to buy something we enjoy that may end up supporting a group's actions that we are against? These are moral issues that could easily be in an RPG.

Also going on with the video game theme- They need to make chick-fil-a fried chicken that has no AIFR (Agenda I find reprehensible)! I want a way for people to just pay for their fried chicken without the money going into actions that they morally disagree with!
