It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Fever_Discordia: Whenever I press the 'URL link' button it tends to put the URL tags right at the start of the post and not where the cursor is - Has that been reported before?
I don't have any problems.

Edit: Apart from being an idiot

wormholewizards: I just realized there is a bug with Opera browser. "My Account" and "download / buy game" are missing. I thought my page not loading properly.
I noted the 'download' button was gone from Empire Earth for a while when the site had gone crazy - check again now

Nope still missing. I think the problem is with Opera. Google Chrome works fine. Also with Opera, "My Account" button is missing on home page. I need to access it through community or else it wouldn't appear. Weird. GOG website not compatible with Opera 11.

Sometimes when I load a Gog page(even before the sales) in Chrome some buttons and icons wouldn't load quickly at first. I waited a bit and they showed up a few seconds after the other page elements loaded in in most cases.

Still not working without any Opera extension too. Maybe GOG team can verify this.
The forums now seem to have two modes for me: working and borked.

In borked mode, I can't get to my PMs and the whole My Account section is all weird (switching to PM takes me to a nested instance of itself which doesn't work -- see pic), and I can't post, as the new post window leads to a 404.

In working mode, everything seems to be fine. It switches randomly between the two (I was in borked mode for the last hour and now it seems okay, and there was the same cycle before that). Opera and IE9 both the same, tried deleting cache/cookies and all that jazz.

Is it holiday sale traffic or just a bug? I don't know, but it is really annoying.

Ah, okay, so it's not me. I haven't read the latest developments yet and thought that if others experienced this, there would be something about it in this thread.

EDIT: Just found an earlier thread about it. For future reference, here it is, with a nicely descriptive title that makes it really easy to find.

I just made two screenshots of this thread which gathered a lot of posts very quickly. There's something deeply wrong about the way timestamps are stored/read on this forum -- the posts seem to be completely out of sequence.

EDIT: And this post shows only one attachment, but when I click on edit, there are two. What the hell?

SECOND EDIT: Added the second screenshot again. Now there are two attachments, but in the editing window there are three.

I too have a problem attaching attachments to posts. I go to make a new post, type out my message, upload 2+ jpg files, then click post, and in my actual post in the thread, only 1 of he files is listed. I have to edit the post to add the other files. I can only add one at a time.

Sometimes, it won't let me add more than 2 uploads total per post.

This is another bug that has been reported. And is listed in the OP.

The forum can only correctly handle on attachment at a time (that is, only one attachment becomes visible on the forum, you can add another one each time you edit the post).

Ah, okay, thanks. Never came across that one. Tripping up a bug when reporting a bug -- classic.
Bug report: Forums are not market as visited when using IE9.

I feel your pain, that's the reason i switched from IE to Chrome to browse gog. That one has been on the OP for months now but i'm going to move it up a bit.

The messed up timestamps are causing all sorts of issues, on the boards, on the pm system, etc. The problem first reared its ugly head in June or July and sadly it's only been getting worst with no fix in sight. There are already a couple of reports in the op related to timestamps though.

In regards to the site being borked, it seems that the massive hammering on the servers caused it since things seem to be in their place now, right ?

Are you still having problems with Opera ?
