I want to get a racing/driving game, and I have a few in my wishlist, but which do you suggest I get first and why?

Not a huge racing fan but I just love FlatOut!

Pure unadulterated FUN , the ragdoll minigames alone are worth the money!
30~ tracks, Destruction Derby style arenas, Fully modeled car damage, Great (tho not realistic) physics Whats not to love about it!?!

One could argue this. But yes, great game.

Driver: Parallel Lines
Interstate '76

haa nice one. I'm still going to buy the other ones, though maybe not Megarace 3. I dunno.
Why just those 2?

Flatout for it's over-the-top violent crases, Interstate '76 for it's nostalgic value.

Those are good reasons. Have you played all the others?

Nope.
Though Screamer is the most bare-bones racer available from GOG, it's also a blast to play. I used to play DAYTONA '99 at my cousin's house, and Screamer reminds me of that game. This was before they decided to only use the classic left-turn scheme, so there were some pretty crazy levels.

My father wore me out on racing games after forcing me to race him in NASCAR games on the N64 when I was 6.
Big Rigs.

Rohan15: Nope.
Then your opinion is useless!
haha no, I'll probably get FlatOut or '76 first, as I've been eyeing those the most.

I fixed that issue. I just drove backwards and ran him off the road until he let me go back to playing Mortal Kombat 2 or Lufia on SNES.
