I sent a troubleshooting request regarding Vampire Redemption about two weeks ago, and I've heard nothing back. I have no way of even knowing if they got my request for assistance. What can I do? I'm hoping that posting this here will get their attention.
No posts in this topic were marked as the solution yet. If you can help, add your reply
Have you considered to try and get the actual problem resolved in the game's forum, rather than the question on how to reach the GoG team (which you marked as solved)?
That might be a faster alternative to GoG's own support ;)

What is the problem, the community is sometimes a faster route to fix problems
My last post in the VTM:R forum is on someone else's question, because they are having the same problem as me. They haven't gotten any response back about their problem. I've also done a lot of research and can't find anything useful.

GameRager: What is this unknown conundrum of which you speak?
I think he's talking about his rather non descriptive posting concerning an unknown module.

Edit:
I figured that I should provide constructive criticism and explain why your posting is not very descriptive. Generally whenever I try to receive help on an issue with software, I provide details on my operation system (and hardware when it seems necessary), the complete error message if there is any and a short 'how to reconstruct the error'. By doing so, every other user trying to assist has all crucial data for debugging available and doesn't need to ask over and over again.
An example posting would be something along the lines of:
'I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 SP1 on a computer that powers an ATI Radeon 5850 with the Driver Packaging Version 8.821-110126a-112962C-ATI. DXDiag spots no error. When I try to start Simon the Sorcerer through the short-cut link, I receive an error message saying "Fujek is too dumb to play this game. Please consider upgrading his AI".'

Thanks for the feedback. In this case, I'm running Windows XP SP3, on a Lenovo T61, with fully up to date Nvidia drivers (specifically for Thinkpads, so not their universal drivers, which don't seem to work right) for my Quatro NVS 1400m (or something like that). DXDiag does spot no errors. When I try to run it, I get a message saying there is an exception, and it faults the module "unknown". I have uninstalled the game for the time being since my hard drive was pretty full and I wanted to play some other stuff. Having finished Mass Effect, I can probably give it another go. Thanks GameRager. I'll give your suggestion a try. I probably won't have time for a few days, because of RL stuff, so I'll try to post my results here when I have some time. Peace. Thanks for the help and the feedback.
Also, resend you question to GOG support . . . seems that they don't always receive emails as they should.

Just out of curiosity, where do the responses typically appear?

hedwards: ...
All the responses that I have received are sent to my email address. Early on, responses would also appear on my account page. That feature has been removed I believe.

I haven't asked for any support lately but in the past it took 2 - 5 days to get a response depending mostly on how close the weekend was when I made the request. I did ask for a CD key this past Friday so . . . =)

Just to follow up, I requested CD keys last Friday and received them via email at 4:09 am EST Wednesday morning or about 5 days (3 days if you don't count the weekend). The is at the far end of the usual response time I have gotten on my support requests with 2 days being the quickest . . . your mileage may vary . . . =)

Edit: Guess I should mention that I sent the request around 11 pm Friday night so I would think they didn't look at my request until Monday.
