You GOG guys should go ahead and finish off the series.
There's a wishlist. Also contact the publisher of Myst.

The publisher of Myst is Cyan. The owners of Myst III and IV are Ubisoft.

Uhm actually you are wrong. Myst 3 & 4 were developed by Presto Studios and published by Ubisoft - Cyan hold the IP rights.
And GOG has agreements with Cyan and Ubisoft, the problem is, Cyan might not have any agrement with Ubi, or Ubi doesn't want to share protifs with Cyan or whatever.
What drives someone to make this thread, I truly wonder.

Pretty much yes... and this agreement seems to be hard to get...cause Myst 3 & 4 are not very common :)

Uhm, I'm aware that Myst 3 was developed by Presto Studios (Myst 4 was developed in house by Ubisoft). Just because Cyan own the Myst IP doesn't mean they have full ownership of all the games in the series. Despite Cyan owning the Myst IP, some deal needs to be struck with Ubisoft, the owner of those games.

I don't think anything I said was wrong. Cyan is the publisher of Myst on GOG, Ubisoft would need to publish 3 and 4.

Cyan own the name ...Ubisoft owns the developed games. And so far I don't see Myst 3 & 4 on any digital service.
Ubisoft can't publish without Cyan... that was my point... nvm we are talking for a same thing :D

Which is exactly what I said!

I would have thought it was fairly easy to figure out, but maybe I overestimated you.

Definitely.

Not only that but they also need to go back to the games of the series already on catalogue and get us some extras.
And get Spelunx. Steam has it for gods sake!
