GOG’s presentation at CDP Days brought [url=http://www.gog.com/en/news/heres_a_video_recap_of_gogs_presentation]a lot of exciting news. So much, in fact, that some of it might slip your notice, except this one: the original Alone in the Dark trilogy is again available to every PC gaming fan. To celebrate the arrival of those great titles, Cook decided to write up a retrospective article on how the first part in this cult series was created with a short interview with Frederick Raynal - the person who stood behind the creation process of the first part.
Very interesting article! I won't buy this game, because I have all 3 parts, but I would like to recommend them. You just have to know that they are quite slow paced, with rather clunky controls. But it feels like you are playing history of gaming :). Really, they don't make survival horrors anymore :< (wait, there is Amnesia and Penumbra series!).

I was quite surprised that there were no comments under this article.

I was just not surprised to see how OLD this article was. I guess everyone else is too busy whining about the DRM in the retail versions of TW2 to notice?
Little Big Adventure is legendary.
Thanks for the interview and the topic GoG, very interesting to read.

And for some reason, Bruno Bonnel kinda reminds me of this CEO I know, his name is Bobby Kotick, the head honcho at Activision. :P
Thanks for this article.. Keep them going :) It`s really great to read something from "behind the scene". You makes my day.

Never played the 2 or 3, but the first was very good. Alan Wake.. well.. what does he think about Fahrenheit or Heavy Rain ? For me, Alan Wake is the best game of the genre.. yes, it has it errors, but it is really something unbelievable.. only for this game, XBOX is worth the buy :)

Waititng for the E3 .. hope, that Alan Wake 2 will be annonunced (some rumours are on the internet, even the game sales really poor)..
So, does it mean that Alon in the Dark 2 is just a cheap cash-in of the first one?
In my opinion articles should have separate section. Otherwise, they would disapear under the news about new releases or offers.
Hey, nice article, thanks GOG!:)

McChubs: Little Big Adventure is legendary.
I hope that GOG knows it too and it will be one (two) of the surprises in the upcoming weeks. :-)
Nice interview, thank you GOG.

I love the original AitD, it was just so original. The sequels are nice games, too, but you really do notice the lack of significant improvements.

Dear GOG, I hope you are hard at work to bring us Little Big Adventure, another crown jewel in your ever growing collection of old gems. :)
Was very suprised and very excited to see the original trilogy added to Good old games.
Very interesting interview. Glad to hear the original creator was so passionate about his work.. I think it showed in his game.
Hey GOG thanks for another great article. I really enjoy them.
