amok: the threads will dissapear in 3 days into the bottom of the forum and no one will ever see them again... the poor codes lost forever....
Unless a foresighted forum member save the thread links for posterity... ;)

I will bump them for eternity to make you smile.
I'm with SimonG, although I think GOG knew that this is going to happen.

I suggest giving those codes away on some other forums, if you don't have friends who are into old games.

I know it would be nice, but , you know, we are GOG customers, not employees.

We don't have to bring new customers here. It's GOG's job.
Don't feel like putting a massive effort in this, personally - but do feel free to pass the code I posted in the other thread on to whoever you think worthy. I don't really care that much who redeems it.

Plus - even though there's an overabundance now people will be able to find that thread in the future, months from now. See it as an archive of redeemable copies.

Sometimes the best marketing a company has is its own customers.
I've already started a giveaway thread on videogamegeek.com (sister site of boardgamegeek)
Ok, dumb question: if I add it to my cart, it gives me no option to submit the code, it only asks for my payment info. So where do I go to input the code?

Thank you!

SimonG: Let me first say again that I am not happy that one of the best RPGs of all time gets passed around like a drunken county whore.
To be perfectly honest, I don't understand this sentence at all. Whatever game they dumped on us for completing that survey would have a similar outcome but with a different "one of the best X".

keeveek: To be honest, I don't have ANY friends who like playing old games. All of them are "Call of duty junkies". It's sad but true, this is why I'm giving away my code here.
Me too! They also stick to MOBA games and perhaps one or two new game with the latest graphics. :(

Vorax: The whores I will be passing around will be strictly sober.
Hahahaha!

Strangely enough I was thinking the same sentence.

Bigger GOG = Better chance to see Lucas Arts / Microsoft / Take Two / THQ games here.
There's nothing wrong with GOG giving out games that were previously widely available on abandonware sites for free, especially if it inspires people to buy the sequel, also available on GOG.
