bansama: I use Yurekuru. A quick Google search offered up this: http://www.filecluster.com/iPhone/yurekuru-call-for-iPhone-102956.html

Which appears to have a non-iTunes download link. But I got mine via iTunes so I can't comment on whether that will work for you or not.
Cool Thanks, and it´s available internationally!! on iTunes work with JMA

Off topic I know, but a quick request for the other Japan based GOGers, have any of you seen a domestic retail version of Homefront on the PC?

I've got someone from KAOS asking me about it as they are trying to work out why the server lists are not showing anyone playing.

I expect it's because only Amazon and CyberFront's own store are selling it and people are instead, buying the US version so they can play on overseas servers. I also have not seen a retail version here on the PC but my city only has one PC game store with a shitty selection.

</end off topic request>

for a quick check I could only find the PS3 and xbox Version
http://www.yodobashi.com/ec/category/index.html?word=homefront&cate=&searchbtn=true

For a detailed check i need to go to Akihabara and check the old hard way - personally.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I told them. I get the impression they don't understand the so-called PC retail market here at all. Or at least the fact that it doesn't really exist. =/

Same at Bic Camera... Yeah, that's precisely the problem: apart from doujin games, pron games and some niche games (A-train for example) there's virtually no market for PC games here in Japan...

I wouldn't say there's no market, as imports are available. No market would imply no one wants to buy PC games. But as they do, it's more likely that certain elements don't want mainstream PC gaming to take off. =(

This could help explain much of the misdirection, disinformation and conflicting information coming from all sides.

Juss my 2 cents.

Ahhh, the UFOs. Kind of wondered when they would come into play! ^_^

I love how in those videos, everything is always so blurry. We have professionnal cams that can make incredible zooms, even the average people cameras are excellent compared to what, even 10 years ago, still, we always end up with shitty blurred images that mean next to nothing. What a pity.

Not to say that UFOs don't exist, okay? It's just that it's frustrating to see so much technological advances in the field of opticals worth nothing when it comes to UFOs...
N/p. Most UFO vids on youtube are of better quality than my camera (wherein even if I spotted one, it'd be an insult to try and film'em!), so I'm not in a position to judge their quality as I'm not well-versed in anything better. I will say in defense of the videos, that I'm sure the original videos that users post are indeed longer, but they don't post those original videos b/c it'd be kind of pointless to share watching a UFO do nothing but fly w/zero interaction for more than 3-5 minutes.

I still think its intriguing, and thus thought I'd share it. :OD
Just when i gave XCOM another cha.. i mean, just when i started playing XCOM again! Hmm. Let's investigate..
Oh! Kikoskia is REPLAYING XCOM! The plot thickens!

On a more serious note, i'd sooner believe Johnny Paul had supernatural powers.

Yeah, the main problems in those vids is that they "happened" in full daylight, at a time where almost ALL japanese people were anxiously watching TV news all day long in order to se what was happening. So I doubt that such a thing would have remained unnoticed, or that there is a conspiracy wide enough to hide that, especially in Japan.
Ha! There's no conspiracy wide enough to hide anything really, in this day & age! If one knows where & when to look, that is!

But how are you and the rest of our Japanese GOGers fairing the past few days?
It's not the camera that's blurry, it's the effect of the advanced alien camouflage. UFOs look blurry to the naked eye as well. Apparently, the Sasquatch uses it also.
