So if I buy at some point some game with that price. Which would be best in your opinion?
i'm a bit adventuring type so no RTS-games are really an option. I just was born to hate those.

Edit: and does gog have some sale day normally?

Edit2: rts games aren't really NOT an option.

Fallout 1&2
Weekends are sale days.
And 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month should be a gem promo.

There seems to be a sale for a specific game most weekends, and I believe the first and third wednesday every month also has a sale for one game.

For larger and longer sales, umm... you'll have to check the main page or your e-mail inbox.

For heavens sake if you dont have it already immediatelly buy Rollercoaster Tycoon :)
Temple of elemental evil or arcanum?
And that alone in the dark-pack sounds alright.. but is there a way that those games aren't so blocky? =P

Edit: with jagged alliance wild fire.. it needs the original game?

Edit2: or is it tex murphy 1+2.. really I don't know nothing about those.

Arcanum is better than ToEE. Unless you desperately want to play a 3.5 D&D game by yourself, get Arcanum. It's not bad, exactly, but it's nowhere near as good as Arcanum.

Probably Arcanum if you're the adventuring type. From what I've seen it has more story, quests and more exciting exploration to offer. I've experienced Temple of Elemental Evil mostly as a turn-based D&D combat simulator, where the story is just a pretense and not that interesting. Not a bad game if you like D&D but all in all I'd say Arcanum is much more attractive to the average player.

Whoops, ninja'd by bevinator, but I agree.

hmm some of the adventure games are worth it
1)Atlantis lost tales : great adventure game but cant recommend it right now there seems to be problems with the gog version

2)last express :- good game if you haven't played. the difficulty can make people rage quit though

I preciate and value your comment but this was the sentence which didn't make much sense to me. =)
And I mention now, it doesn't have to be an adventure.. Really only requirement is that it is not RTS-game. =)

Those words will haunt me untill the end of days.
It takes time to write out posts. Often, someone will write a long and well-thought out grammatically correct post like this one. In the meantime, someone else has already written and posted a shorter one that said exactly what they were going to say. So the short-poster has "ninja'd" the longer post by being stealthy and stuff.

Internet lingo yay!

tell me about it.. As in not native english writing bastard, it takes time and when you write somewhat insightfull post and realise that one horrible person with one crappy sentence pretty much makes uss to delete that post.. That post where we pured our souls..

As a huge fan of the series, I don't recommend Tex Murphy 1+2. The first one is too oldschool for me. The second one I've only played a little and I do intend to play it more once I have some free time. They are both really good games (supposedly), but they don't really compare to what you can get from Tex 3-5 instead. I'd say, play Tex 4, 3 and 5 in that order, then 2, then 1.

Soooooo... If I were you'd I'd get Arcanum. I know you said that you got the Fallouts. If you haven't played those yet then get off of the interwebs and start playing them now. When you're done, play Arcanum. Rinse and repeat.
