Can't say I don't agree with you man.

hahaha that video is too damn funny but also sad, how could they allow such a thing to be released. I hope they make laws for publishers to be sued. They are selling broken products, it's like buying pants with holes in it... Yet no one does anything about it and they get away with it. Honestly I don't understand how Sega is still alive. They have been releasing garbage (literally) after garbage over the past years. All their games were unfinished, buggy and rushed (except for Yakuza series I guess). I remember Sega being my favorite brand when I was a kid with Genesis one of the best consoles ever made.

As for Beth, I HATE it when every time the name Fallout drops, Beth is getting all the credits for it. Some of the best prople who worked on the best RPG's ever made came up with the idea, characters, settings and Interplay sold it to Beth for a cheap ass price. Their biggest mistake ever (although they went bankrupt). FO3 is a good game but is it a RPG, HELL NO. Beth games are far overrated but popular because they are accessible to everyone with Skyrim being one the most overrated games. Three of my friends absolutely hate RPG's because they find it too confusing etc. but have like 150+ hours on Skyrim and think it's one of the best game ever. What does that tell you?

anyway FO:NV was much better because it was made as an RPG and the original people worked on it and you see that it didn't received the praises FO3 got. Why because those developers don't make games for the mass.

monkeydelarge: I'm not in.

I hate SEGA for being so greedy and obviously pressuring the Company O Heroes 2 developers into releasing the game way too early. Company Of Heroes 2, thanks to SEGA now, is unplayable for many people due to a lack of optimization. The game is also plagued with too much DLC. DLC that gives an advantage to the people who own them VS the people who don't in multiplayer. I also hate SEGA for making it so ROME II - TOTAL WAR is the worst Total War game instead of being the best Total War game. The game is unoptimized, full of bugs, missing too many features found in previous Total War games and is plagued with unreasonable DLC. For example, you need to purchase DLC in order to play as the Greeks. That's like making it so in order to use SMGs in a COD game, you have to buy the SMG DLC pack.
Funny story about rome total war 2. From this story, if i read that right with my magical sight. They made the game for a high metacritic score and not for the gamer. http://gamasutra.com/view/feature/169354/how_creative_assemblys_process_.php?page=2

Yeah, it would be nice if publishers could get sued for releasing broken games. Fallout New Vegas is why I don't hate Bethesda and why I'm only pissed off at them. They had the wisdom to let Obsidian Entertainment make FNV and FNV is a great game. I love that game. I remember, when I was a kid, SEGA was awesome. What happened to them?

Well they pretty much lost the "console wars", Sega was too focused on bringing new consoles and after genesis all their stuff was junk. SNES dominated the market with 64 bit. After that Mega-CD, Neptune, Saturn, Pluto, Dreamcast all failed and were unnecessary. And then came PS1 what meant bye bye Sega. Then in 1999 with lot of debts they announced going into software developing but failed since they were so focused on consoles that they didn't have any original IP. Then they went into publishing business.

Then they merged with Sammy since microsoft and EA didn't want them. But currently they are doing a bit better, maybe not great in europe/Us but they are very known in Japan and sell very well there. They even make arcade games in Japan. Sega is just terrible at marketing their games outside japan but some of their JRPG's were really fun. Also total war 2, isn't fixed yet? I heard they patched they game heavily like Aliens Colonial Marines.

One thing about Jap developers though: you might hate them and they might rush and release unfinished things, they DO listen to the costumers. At least they have a sense of obligation to the buyers and fix their stuff (or try) and admit their fault. Most western devs would just blame the consoles/you PC for it and let the community fix it. I remember the memory leak in skyrim on the ps3 which was blamed on Sony by Beth, basically saying the architecture is not optimized bla bla. So i ask myself why would you release a broken product if you KNOW it's broken.
Bumping it one more time.
In for Out There Somewhere .

Not really got anything to rant about for a particular publisher, but hate the usual crap they pull such as the whole DLC nonsense that is rarely justified (occasionally it can be but it is not often used in any good way).

I also hated the trend not long ago of larger developers buying smaller developers, especially when it ended with Microsoft/Sony using this to gain exclusives or just shutting them down/merging them not long after.

Congrats to the winners

Since there were 3 people in for Out There Somewhere, random.org decided to pick benderz (see pic). And since no one entered for "Project Night", I'll give the it to the second person on the random list which is mabrookes. You can keep the key or give it to Thespian if you want.

Also it seems that the community doesn't respond well to indie games or/and only responds to people with stars or high reps, so I'll be taking a break from gog :) Thank you for the fun months.

Congrats to the other winner and thanks a lot for Out There Somewhere, both Zurvan7 and benderz! (who sneakily entered with the purpose of regifting it to me) :)

Also, thank you very much to mabrookes for sending me the key for Project Night, which I'll use in a next GA, if Zurvan is OK with it. :)

I don't think it's the case. Often the participation in a GA is strongly related to random occurrences as if the prizes have been recently discounted or offered as a part of a bundle (so most people have already them), or even if the GA has been opened at a certain time (due to different timezones, the GA going to the second page, etc.) ;)
