stonebro: That Octopus is just getting freaky now. He did predict the loss to Serbia as well. I'm wondering if there's any tinkering going on, like taking pictures of him apparently eating from both baskets, then just releasing the one that fits the match results. Do the pictures always come out before the match?

Apparently there was a live video feed for his Final and Third-place playoff predictions, so no cheating for those (He picked Spain and Germany, who are probably the favourites for each game.)
Also, I did know he'd picked Germany before the England game and he picked the Netherlands before the semi-final. There was even a German in the crowd with a banner hoping Paul was wrong.

Germany 3 x 2 Uruguay, what a nice match And yes it will be great to watch the final, since both teams never had this final duel before. My guess is that Larissa will show us some love. :)

If the CE for Elemental is really limited I'd do go for it (and if you really like Elemental, of course).
You can always buy GOGs the next month, but you can't buy this weekend's promo the next month... It's tough. :p

Today was awesome to say the least. Brought out my Villa jersey got prepared for a world cup final party. To safely say, I am glad Spain lost the first game and got it out of their systems and managed to win the cup.
See you guys in 2012 for the Euro Cup!

We set up a competition between some mates and colleagues, predicting the outcome of the finals from the first knockout stage and out. Ended up with 17 of us wagering 300 NOK, or about 47 dollars, each. Me winning netted me 5100 NOK, or roughly 800 bucks.
Neat. Even better because the guy I ended up competing with in the final was dutch, and had just put the netherlands up as winner because he was a fan.

Hehe, you mean, mean person.
The match was kinda meh though. The referee was a bit of a jerk and both teams have played a lot better in earlier matches, I think. The Dutch team was extremely ruthless (to the extent that it made actually playing decent soccer almost impossible, especially combined with said referee), which turns out to be sort of lame if you end up losing anyway.
