Ancient-Red-Dragon: Thanks for the info.

Interesting post in that thread by Alexim, who said:

Lol, I think I've never read anything more childish from a company.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: That response by the Zoom Platform owner seems like a tit-for-tat response to when GOG staff told him he might be banned for posting in this thread to clear up questions and misinformation because him doing that could be interpreted to be 'advertising.'

I do agree that that post by the Zoom Platform owner regarding "who was first" wasn't very professional. On the other hand, I can also understand why he'd be peeved at GOG and why there is "bad blood" between them, given his experiences with GOG.
Well in GOG's defense as a company they are justified, it's the equivalent of someone from Burger King going into a McDonalds lounge area and promoting the rival, would you let someone continue like that if you owned that McDonalds?
I think Zoom's criticism of GOG (in the Discord) can sometimes be over the mark, like in regards to bad compatibility for some releases, not improving the quality of installers, "laziness" etc., but obviously I don't always agree with them :P

this is Loaded or Re-Loaded?

Unless they're getting into console emulation, likely Re-Loaded, as Loaded does not have a pc port to my knowledge.

This is a good question and I don't know the answer. But, I know that Zoom Platform are quite open to using emulation. They already sell at least one emulated Amiga game that I am aware of:

https://www.zoom-platform.com/product/wings-emulated-amiga-edition

I don't think having to use emulation would stop them (providing it could be done legally and with good quality).

The second one, maybe, probably

Not entirely sure what can be said without getting told off!

Either way, big blue bear hugs!

I remember renting the PS1 version thinking it was something today with Spawn for some reason
Zoom Platform just released Hatred and REKKR: Sunken Land.

Desura used to have it DRM-free but that's obviously long gone.

Oh, I didn't know that (or I forgot about it)

Not sure what the double pack refers to?

I have the boxed version of Off-Road Redneck Racing. It is just one game and barely related to the Redneck Rampage series, in fact it doesn't even use the Build engine, unlike the other offshoot to the series - Redneck Deer Huntin'. It's a great game all the same though, so I will probably grab this digital version.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Off-Road_Redneck_Racing

I'm still hoping for Redneck Deer Huntin' game, which came in my boxed set of the Redneck Rampage games, but alas not in the version at GOG.

Unless Redneck Deer Huntin' is the second part of the Double Pack, and they forgot to mention that.

Yeah, it seems Zoom Platform have released some interesting new games before Christmas. It's going to be hard to decide, but REKKR looks like it has a very cool Heretic vibe :-)

The store page says "Off-Road + Redneck Racing double pack", so I assume Off-Road is a different game to Redneck Racing?

Pool Shark 2 - another new one, apparently.

They are probably just playing on the words and getting double meaning out of that, because the game itself is called Off-Road Redneck Racing, with no plus between.

Reading the blurb it sounds like they are just talking about the one game too, so I think they have taken a liberty with the title, making it seem like more than one game.

If true that could lead to trouble for them as this is a prime example of deceptive/misleading marketing and promotion.

The package contains Off-Road (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1S2BwarOe0&ab_channel=SlasherPL) and Redneck Racing the store text is a little confusing but is being altered to be more clear.

I should say I can't say too much on here as I don't wish to step on any CoC toes, but if you have any question you can easily reach me via pms, Twitter/Twitch/Discord
