DoomSooth: Zoom has a lot of DRM-free things I haven't seen anywhere else. Granted, I haven't really looked anywhere else but I don't think I'd find them if I were to look.
REPLY ATTEMPT TWO .... the one I did yesterday completely disappeared who knows where. Let's see if I can recall what I wrote. Before I became aware of the ZOOM Platform store, I got a good number of the games I later found there, free via IndieGala. So lots of them have been available elsewhere, which has resulted in ZP selling less to me.
That's quite ironic in a way, because IndieGala don't really do DRM-Free, except with their regular freebies. I even emailed them once about whether they listed any DRM-Free games, and I never heard back from them.
Quite why those games aren't available at GOG, and were going free briefly at IndieGala, but can now be found at the ZOOM Platform, boggles the mind. It's not like IndieGala ever promoted the ZOOM Platform during their giveaways.
P.S. Alas, writing from recollection never turns out as good as the original. I'm sure I said more and said it better. Time4Tea: Looks like there will be another new game coming very soon (besides Postal 3). It was teased on their Discord, but I won't leak the name until it is released. It's an older game that GOG hasn't got, which has ~1000 votes on the GOG wishlist. They said hopefully in the next week.
Thanks for the heads up. I joined their Discord channel a few weeks back, but ended up nuking the constant emails.
Hopefully it will be the game I am waiting for or another I might want, and the price is a fair one.
