SlackR84: The fault is with the publisher not notifying where they had the game for sale (Zoom) that they lost the rights. You don't seem to understand the process isn't for stores to look all over the internet and Twitter to see what the latest news/drama/what ever is. Its to take down games when requested by the people who told them to put them up in the first place, no more, no less.

Pyrodactyl notified GoG and Steam and it was changed. When they notified Zoom, it was also changed. The system works, yay!
they have been informed previously of situations like this and their reply is literally "we ain't doing anything if we are not notified" knowing that they operate in a grey area of almost invisibility. They are not promoted anywhere, they don't come up on ggdeals, they are hiding behind a famous videocall platform name, finding them + name of the game on google is impossible, and even finding their website is hard. The system works?

"You don't seem to understand the process"
You don't seem to have the intention to stop being belittling and patronizing, so I'll leave you to your obnoxiousness.

I don't think anyone is 'hiding' behind Zoom video conference mate, it's just two services with a similar name. Is GOG hiding behind the Goverment of Ghana?
For such dirty scumbags, they sure did fix the situation quickly after being notified.
Are you guy aware of the connection between Zoom Platform, the former Sega CEO Bernie Stolar and the actor Andy Dick?

Bernie Stolar is executive chairman as stated on Zoom website. The actor is acting and appearing in the announced Shadow Stalkers.

The fact that the thread about a two-bit dive like Zoom is now continuously on page 1 of GD shows how badly gog damaged their street cred with some of their more recent decisions.

No, the small group of users who are annoyed that gog has added options like achievements or profiles even though they are not mandatory is the one that has promoted this discussion.

The reality is that zoom plate is no match for gog.

Gog continues to be a non-drm store that is beginning to welcome all over the world among its customers and that is achieving that many AAA are added without drm.

Yes, they are added 5+ years after release! And no, GOG is losing more than gaining from recent decisions!

gog supports drm now, no way around it. They don't even support the actual offline installers anymore since they are focused on the poor mans Steam galaxy client.

If you damage the connections to your core customers, you're not really improving. Sure, Galaxy 2.0 might have options to bring things together and send messages to your mates (though, i don't really get why you would given Discord exists but hey) but assuming success is never a good thing, even more so when you fail to have communication with people both new and old. Unless it's a snazzy campaign saying 'fckdrm...but we'll still support it through other means, so don't fck it too much'

The optics for everything are so slanted, and it's reflected in the near-constant unrest reflected in the forum, which they seem to fear but don't have the ability/guts/care to talk to. Hence why a platform with no pressence anywhere online bar a specefic search has been front-page forums for the last few weeks.

In the gog forum there is only the small group of users who have always been in trouble.

They are those who when they added achievements began to complain even though the achievements were not mandatory.

And there have been thousands of complaints on social media against this small group and cd project has never had the courage to ban them despite the fact that there have been many discussions because of them.

Hopefully that group will go to zoom platform and the majority of users can write freely in this forum

No, gog sells all their games without drm. That's the only truth .

false. gwent is online only, then you got the no mans sky situation and their product galaxy will sell drm epic games.

If they disagree with you = problem?

I'm mean you kinda overlooked everything i said for a very basic reply that didn't make much sense other than 'i don't like what they said, i hope they go'

It is a free game to play online ... Gog is a platform without drm, the only platform that has achieved a successful store without drm and that is growing every day.

It's a shame that there is this small group of users who are always creating problems and cd project never does anything.

I remember when Spanish was asked for gog games, that group created problems.

I remember adding profiles requested by the vast majority of gog users and the small group of users complaining even though they weren't required.

Not all "complaints" are the same thing and not all the users you are saying "complain" are the same ones. The "complaints" about DRM are indeed "problems", since the branding of the store is to be DRM-free. And isn't a business supposed to listen to its customers? Even the minority? Or is their money worth less?

GWENT being online-only seems to violate the definitions put forth on GOG's sister site, FCKDRM.com. Does it not? Please answer yes or no. If Galaxy is used to sell DRMed games from other stores or this store, that would also seem to demonstrate that Galaxy on the whole violates the standards detailed there.
