I think now might be the right time to make lots of game suggestions while they're small and have time to really listen. I'd still encourage people to make their own Discord accounts and contribute.

They seemed to be nice and really listen back in 2018 when I exchanged a few e-mails with them too, but nothing was happening them, so let's hope it goes beyond listening and into implementation now too.
Definitely won't make a Discord account though, but used that e-mail from back then (assuming it still works) to ask them again about payment methods for those without cards or account, mentioning PSC specifically as the one such method I'm aware of, and also about listing those new games, and having new additions displayed somewhere and being able to sort by addition date.

I made a bunch in post 87 here, if someone wants to relay them(I included a ton of things many seem to want that GOG doesn't want to do or improve upon).

I'd do it myself, but I don't need even more accounts(I have a ton already on various other sites).

That's fine, this thread is like the official zoom thread anyways so people can also chat here about it if they prefer not to make a discord account.

I just hope someone on staff there sees it or similar suggestions. :)

Adding multiple extras, $5.99 price point, kickass release videos......yup, classic gog stuff.

Too bad GOG would rather just hand out blanket PR replies/statements/posts every now and then & not talk much with the user base(due to problems with a few interactions in the past and some social media faux outrage by a few other people online), and let the forums fall apart because they're too cheap to upgrade them(even though CDP/CDPR could likely give them money to do so).

And too bad they "curate" so much that decent games get turned down because the staff doesn't think they're good enough, while other stores pounce on them to make money(like any store should).

Gog should imo take lessons from this up and coming newcomer.....unless they want to slowly fall by the wayside like some Blockbuster 2.0

Why? Because their parent won't be able to bail them out with cash from new game releases like The Witcher series and Cyberppunk2077 forever.

If someone from ZOOM ever reads this page, or someone can send this to them...these bits of the installer EULA seem troubling/iffy:
----------------------------------------------------------------

The bit about not being able to install one's games to multiple PCs(possibly even their own PCs): Does this include if one wants to install to multiple PCs they own to play in various locations(like work and home, or work and on the go)? If so, can this maybe be a bit more lenient for those who want to install to multiple PCs for their own use at least?

The bit about not backing up an archival installer to a hard drive: um, most people back up their files to hard drives....not stuff like optical discs(which are rare for most to use as backups, afaik).

I guess people could use flash drives, but for multiple large games this would be impractical(the same would be said even more for optical discs, which have less capacity than many flash drives)

Mr.Mumbles: Plus, illegally selling games. Yay!
If you think it's illegal, you could ask the IP holder and see if it is or if they gave them permission.

Tbh I don't think a visible store(for a few years now afaik) would be so dumb as to sell infringing files, but I could of course be wrong.

Well, it was pulled from every other store due to expiring car brand licenses. I very much doubt this tiny web store somehow managed to get those going again all by itself when Codemasters can't be arsed to re-up for any of their past racing games.

fronzelneekburm: That, or they have a crack team of legal experts working for them that gog and Steam would give an arm and a leg for.
Magically renewing licenses that the game's publisher doesn't give a fig about is a very tall order.

As Lord Kane said about Duke Nukem, maybe that also applies in this case & Zoom has a longer license to sell such, and the car makers have to honor it like Randy has to let Zoom sell the DN games?

Dunno if that's the case, but it could be a possibility.

I know nothing about how or why zoom is selling race driver grid, I am only aware of the supposed arrangement surrounding duke nukem.

so the possibility is that A) Mr Mumbles is correct and that its being sold illegally
B) There is some other agreement in place with codemasters and/or car makers

This is indeed what I was trying to suggest could be the case here....sorry for the confusion. :)

oh I got it, I was just pairing down your overly verbose statement into something a bit smaller and easier to read.
