Barry_Woodward: Jonathan Blow has spent seven years and his entire BRAID fortune making THE WITNESS and it's finally ready to launch this month. Will GOG get it and, if so, might we finally get BRAID as a tag-along release?
I tweeted Jonathan Blow about Braid coming to GOG on 7 Apr 2013: "Yeah, I have been talking to them about it but it doesn't seem to be high on anyone's priority list."
On 12 Oct 2013, I asked for an update: "Discussions just sort of stopped. I think they are a lot more interested in The Witness than Braid."
That's kind of surprising. I generally am not a fan of platformer games at all and think the market is over-saturated with them and other retro games, so I normally roll my eyes when I see them - BUT... there have been a few that have come along that showed some unique qualities whether it was the artwork or some new gameplay mechanic or something that interested me from time to time. The Trine games were some of the first to pique my interest, then Fez, and I'm also interested in Braid, and Super Meatboy if they ever happen to come to GOG. I think I've voted for them all and possibly others on the wishlist but I'll go check and vote if I didn't already. I'm not familiar with The Witness but I'll look into that as well.
