Jonathan Blow has spent seven years and his entire BRAID fortune making THE WITNESS and it's finally ready to launch this month. Will GOG get it and, if so, might we finally get BRAID as a tag-along release?

I tweeted Jonathan Blow about Braid coming to GOG on 7 Apr 2013:

"Yeah, I have been talking to them about it but it doesn't seem to be high on anyone's priority list."

On 12 Oct 2013, I asked for an update:

"Discussions just sort of stopped. I think they are a lot more interested in The Witness than Braid."

Both of them look interesting and beautiful. Voted.
A spiritual successor to the Myst series?! As pretentious as I've perceived Blow to be, Braid was an amazing game. The Witness will quickly be on my wishlist, even if the reviews don't turn out so great. Voted both of 'em.

For what it`s worth, I still haven`t played Braid and would buy a copy, possibly along with a copy of his new game.

Vote & Bump. Thanks for your efforts to help bring more games here.

amok: rejected for being to niche
How is it niche? It's a critically-acclaimed game which many, many people have enjoyed. As far as the modern puzzle-platformers go, if you ask anybody about what the best are, the majority will name either Braid or Limbo.

At this stage, I would not be surprised if this was the answer gOg would give Treyarch if they wanted to put CoD:BO III here...

I'm not quite understanding. Do you personally not want to see Braid on the GOG store, or do you not care?
I mean, Guacamelee made it on here, and so did Evoland. You could consider both of those "niche" as well.

He's making reference to the answer GOG gave to another game while rejecting it, apparently they came to that conclusion by tracking the number of sales on Steam.

Oh, wasn't aware of that. I thought he was criticizing the game itself. My bad.

It's a joke.... it is the standard reply gOg gives Indies who try to get their games here. "We liked your game, however we consider it to be too niche for our customers and unfortunately must decline. However, pleas try to submit your next game"..
Something among those lines.

I didn't know that. My bad. I know little of GOG's acceptance policies.

I was amused after I understood it.
