There are other indies I'd want to see here waaaaaay before Braid. But I didn't really like Braid all that much.

I'm still praying for a GOG They Bleed Pixels release.
Today is the day it launches. Any chance Jonathan Blow and GOG worked out their differences?

Yes. Somewhere between slim and none.

Kinda wish they had though, probably would've bought it.
Probably still will but it'll have to be on Steam.

I can't wait to play this game.

Barry_Woodward: Jonathan Blow has spent seven years and his entire BRAID fortune making THE WITNESS and it's finally ready to launch this month. Will GOG get it and, if so, might we finally get BRAID as a tag-along release?

I tweeted Jonathan Blow about Braid coming to GOG on 7 Apr 2013:

"Yeah, I have been talking to them about it but it doesn't seem to be high on anyone's priority list."

On 12 Oct 2013, I asked for an update:

"Discussions just sort of stopped. I think they are a lot more interested in The Witness than Braid."
That's kind of surprising. I generally am not a fan of platformer games at all and think the market is over-saturated with them and other retro games, so I normally roll my eyes when I see them - BUT... there have been a few that have come along that showed some unique qualities whether it was the artwork or some new gameplay mechanic or something that interested me from time to time. The Trine games were some of the first to pique my interest, then Fez, and I'm also interested in Braid, and Super Meatboy if they ever happen to come to GOG. I think I've voted for them all and possibly others on the wishlist but I'll go check and vote if I didn't already. I'm not familiar with The Witness but I'll look into that as well.
Game is now on Steam, but not gog, so I guess we got skipped again.

amok: No worries. My attempts of jokes tends to fall flat most of the times anyway

NoNewTaleToTell: For what it's worth I found your joke to be funny!
One might argue that if you do only the same joke, it stops being a joke.
Nevermind I bought it, refunded after an hour, unadjustable FoV. Made me nauseous. :l

I think it's ok but it's really lame that FOV sliders aren't just default considering there's always people demanding it. Anyway, I read that they plan to add it in case enough people demand it according to a few users at Steam Discussions.
It is really disappointing that GOG is passing on so many games. I don’t want to set up accounts with other web stores or Steam just because of pettiness. If the game is decent, and from my early impressions this seems to be the case, I want to have it here. GOG is a shop and I am here to buy stuff. It is already annoying enough that Steam is so difficult to avoid.

Yeah, I'm not gonna count on them maybe putting one in though xD
I'll just get it when it's cheaper and obvious stuff like this has been added.

There's a solution available now.

Thanks I guess. :P
There's hope yet! Just yesterday:

DrearierSpider: "Any chance of getting it onto GOG at some point?"
Jonathan Blow: "Possibly .. we need to work out the legal details and I haven't had time due to just finishing the game."
