Steam is getting an Autumn/Fall sale on 22-28th, I assume GOG will counter with something similiar.

Starting a sale one day before Steam would be a typical GOG move ;-) They must have problems getting it to work.

For a new game release, maybe that will come with the announcement of the sale.... IF there is going to be a sale.
